Demand Will Always Be There

When I started Software Development Job, the demand was there for development job and it was there Tull last year. But some developers thought of automating their coding and thus created the AI for it. Now most of the coding can be generated through the AI and thus in the next 6 to 10 months it can act on its own just like a junior developer.

Now when this happens the normal developer demand will go away and people are scared including me. Because we don't know what will happen to us at that time. But what I know is that even if the demand orld normal developers goes away there will be demand of some other jobs. Yes the mass recruitment like software developer will not be there. But there will be odd jobs which will help people to transition from the coding to those roles.

To be honest I am not sure about these roles as of now because I am not sure how much AI is capable of coding. When I worked with AI, for a new project it is good but when the project becomes big or if it's a legacy project the AI is not doing a great job. So as a developer we have to keep an eye on the AI also to see how well it is writing the code for us. But at the same time, there will br demand for developers who knows the legacy code and thus with the help of AI can bix bugs faster.

So yeah AI will be there which will take some jobs and at the same time there will be demand for new jobs which we have to transition. This transition might not be smooth as well as fast as fas as I know but we have to do it to remain relevant in this role.
