Well well well guess we are at it again, another week to showcase artistry at its peak. Hello everyone welcome once again to another of the hive open mic. I am coderaikiri and for my entry today I'll be presenting a song cover to seasons in the sun by none other than one of the greatest boy band to ever walk the twenty first century- Westlife.... So stay tuned and let's get in the groove real quick.
The theme for the week is THE CHILDREN and so I chose to present this song. On the outside this song has nothing in common with the theme but if you look beyond the service, you'll find out that they both have a lot in common. The first thing I told myself before recording the video was confirming that no one loves the sun more than children so this song is literally for them. In the third verse, one of the singers literally said "little children everywhere, when you see them I'll be there" further solidifying my perspective. The first verse even starts with : "Goodbye to you my trusted friend, we've known each other since we were 9 or 10" highlighting a childhood fond memory where both parties had good times together....
