Hello again, greetings and welcome to the 191st edition of Afritunes. My name is @coderaikiri and this is my entry for this week. I will be performing a cover to the song 99 by ruger so listen and enjoy.
Being a track on the BlownBoy Ru album, 99 takes a completely different route from the songs on the track. Listening to it for the first time, I was kinda taken about by its diversity from the rest and ended up hating it from my first listen but currently I think it's not that bad and might just be growing on me after all. The intro to the song happens to be one of the best in the entire album with home boy finessing why he is not to be played with in this game. Personally the way he voiced our "can you touch your ten toes" was just so unique that if one does not listen with both ears and your mind you wont be able to realize what he really meant by that and that is one Ruger remains a lyrical giant.
