When I started reading the book "El camino sel artista" I knew that the so-called "appointments with the artist" would be one of the activities that I could enjoy through the whole process that this book invites us to. Since the first time I went out with the idea of sharing time with myself it has become a habit that I do not intend to replace, but today I come to share one of these quotes in particular.

While I was in Santa Clara I had little time to rest, and since the course indicated that I had to make the appointment with the artist that week, I couldn't resist or look for excuses. That day I went to lunch super early and got just enough rest. I had timed the time to sit for a whole hour with myself before heading out somewhere else.

The cafe I had visited earlier with my friend was the same one I selected to be. It was around 3 pm, there were hardly any customers and between the weather and the view of the place they made me feel completely at ease so I could then concentrate on myself. I ordered another cappuccino, that was inevitable, and I took out a book that had been accompanying me during my trip.

For a long time I spent it like this, enjoying my coffee while reading. Once again, coffee allowed me to feel in the present moment, each sip reminding me that every moment deserves to be enjoyed with eyes wide open, metaphorically speaking.

Before leaving I thanked the workers for their good attention and work. Cafes have become a recurring place for me when it comes to any issue. To chat, to reconnect with friends or just to enjoy my own company, coffee is there and I feel super grateful for that.

Therefore, I recommend that you have the experience of the date alone, accompanied by a coffee! Until next time 😉.

Cuando comencé a leer el libro "El camino sel artista" supe que las llamadas «citas con el artista» serían una de las actividades que podría disfrutar a través de todo el proceso al que nos invita este libro. Desde la primera vez que salí con la idea de compartir tiempo conmigo mismo se ha vuelto un hábito que no pienso reemplazar, pero hoy vengo a compartirles una de estas citas en particular.

Mientras estaba en Santa Clara tenía poco tiempo para descansar, y como el curso indicaba que debía hacer sí o sí la cita con el artista en esa semana, no pude resistirme ni buscar excusas. Ese día fui a almorzar súper temprano y descansé justi lo necesario. Había cronometrado el tiempo para sentarme durante toda una hora conmigo mismo antes de salir a otro lugar.

El café que había visitado anteriormente con mi amiga fue el mismo que seleccioné para estar. Eran alrededor de las 3 de la tarde, apenas había clientes y entre el clima y la vista del lugar me hicieron sentirme completamente a gusto para poder entonces concentrarme en mí. Pedí otro capuchino, eso era inevitable, y saqué un libro que me había estado acompañando durante mi viaje.

Durante un buen rato me la pasé así, disfrutando de mi café mientras leía. Otra vez, el café me permitía sentirme en el momento presente, cada sorbo recordándome que todo instante merece ser disfrutado con los ojos bien abiertos, metafóricamente hablando.

Antes de irme agradecí a los trabajadores por su buena atención y trabajo. Los cafés se han vuelto para mí un lugar recurrente cuando se trata de cualquier asunto. Para conversar, para reencontrarme con amigos o simplemente para disfrutar de mi propia compañía, el café está ahí y me siento súper agradecido por eso.

Por tanto, les recomiendo que tengan la experiencia de la cita en solitario, ¡acompañados de un café! Hasta la próxima 😉.
