The last coffee gathering of 2025 ☕💻 (eng-esp)

The end of 2025 was great because it couldn’t have been any other way, especially since just a few days before, I met up with my Hive friends for coffee. I repeat: friends, Hive, coffee. All that is good in one sentence.

This gathering is a nod to an old tradition we had of meeting once a month to advise new users who joined the platform, and this way we had an excuse to share a pleasant time. But like any community, there are good times and not-so-good times. We lost the habit along with the integration of new people.

But we all know that NO ONE can refuse a coffee. It’s as simple as that. That’s why Enrique (@yecier) called us together, and we answered his call to have coffee while learning and sharing experiences about the platform.

Fortunately (or unfortunately), the coffee services in our city are the only ones that work somewhat well, and although we weren’t comfortable with the service at the place, we weren’t going to let it ruin our vibe.

For me, the best part was being accompanied by one of my best friends (@joujo), who has already joined Hive and I hope becomes an active creator on the platform. Being there served to inspire us to keep sharing our experiences here.

Despite the service, the coffee was wonderful. Most of us ordered coffee with milk, and the quality was undeniable. The layer of foam, the temperature, and the balance of sweet and bitter were perfect. Perhaps that’s why we got so excited that we ended up chatting for almost two hours there.

In summary, anything that includes coffee will always be superior to any other type of plan. I have no proof, and no doubts either. Greetings to everyone!

El final del 2025 fue genial porque no podía ser de otra manera si solo unos días antes me reuní con amigos hivers a tomar café. Repito: amigos, Hive, café. Todo lo que está bien en una sola oración.

Esta reunión responde a una vieja costumbre que teníamos de juntarnos una vez al mes para aconsejar a los nuevos usuarios que se unían a la plataforma, y así teníamos una excusa para compartir un rato agradable. Pero como toda comunidad, hay tiempos buenos y otros que no lo son tanto. Perdimos el hábito junto con la integración de nuevas personas.

Pero todos sabemos que NADIE puede negarse a un café. Tan sencillo como eso. Por eso Enrique (@yecier) nos citó y nosotros respondimos a su llamado para tomar café juntos mientras aprendíamos y compartíamos experiencias alrededor de la plataforma.

Por suerte (o por desgracia) los servicios de café de nuestra ciudad son los únicos que funcionan medianamente bien, y aunque no nos sentimos a gusto con el servicio del lugar, no íbamos a permitir que arruinaran nuestra vibra.

Para mí la mejor parte fue acompañarme de una de mis mejores amigas (@joujo) quien ya se inició en Hive y que espero se vuelva una creadora activa en la plataforma. Precisamente estar allí sirvió para inspirarnos a seguir compartiendo nuestras experiencias acá.

A pesar del servicio, el café estuvo maravilloso. La mayoría de nosotros pidió café con leche y la calidad era indiscutible. La capa de espuma, la temperatura y la combinación de dulce y amargo era perfecta. Quizás por eso nos emocionamos tanto que nos quedamos conversando por casi dos horas allí.

En resumen, todo lo que incluya café será por siempre superior a cualquier otro tipo de plan. No tengo pruebas, y tampoco dudas. ¡Un saludo a todos!
