Great post, @godfish ! Thank you for alerting us all to the scale of this scamming - I was contacted by another Hive friend last week, asking about this 'air drop' message that they'd been tagged in, and was able to warn them ... thankfully I have @vincentnijman at my side, to reglect on such things... I've had to break my long streak of not downvoting, and have reported all the 'air drop' messages that are tagging me.
It makes me very angry that folks spend their time and energy targetting folks on the Hive, many of whom are building up slow, hard-earned incomes, through their creativity.
Hopefully scams like this can be shortlived, as we collectively shine light on it and educate every Hiver on what it means to be autonomous, private, trustworthy. I'm glad we have such a good solid system of reputation scores 🙏🪷🙌🌼
