Goodbye Space Cowboy [ENG/ESP]
Cowboy Bebop has without a doubt one of the best endings in anime. A series that encompasses the sad life of a male mafia member, who was "betrayed" by the love of his life, and was considered dead until he returned to the place where it all began.
Definitely a story worth enjoying. A series that catapulted Sunrise Studios as one of the best adaptation studios in the 90's, and even more so when this adaptation only took the general idea of the manga, which is quite different.
This kind of events are rare, very rarely an adaptation is seen to be better than the original story, and here we have one of those few examples. Cowboy gives us 26 chapters full of history, philosophy, action, romance, traps, deaths, and much more... it's a very complete mix of ideas.
I can't deny that it's a little difficult to understand at first, but as you watch each chapter carefully you can understand its story. That's why I say it's one of the best endings an anime story can give us.
Spike is our main character, the cowboy himself, a bounty hunter who roams space trying to make a living catching criminals. He is accompanied by Jet, a former cop who has also left his past behind. The two make an interesting duo because they are complete opposites, but they complement each other very well throughout the plot.
One of the things I like most is the female element introduced in this series. Faye and Ed, two women who play an interesting role in Spike's development. While there is no affair with either of these, he cares for them and helps them in his own way, like a big brother, even though he is mostly disinterested he is always looking out for them.
But the one who takes the biggest prize is Julia, Spike's better half and also a member of the mafia, a character who does not appear much but has a great importance, in fact she is the crux of Spike's attitudes and decisions, especially at the end of the story.
In short, the best thing to do if you haven't done so is to watch it. That way you can have your own opinion about it, but if you have already seen it I encourage you to share your impressions in the comments. Cowboy Bebop is a gem, a story that all anime lovers should know.
Thanks for reading

This is undoubtedly a timeless classic of Japanese animation, we all love Cowboy Bebop.
Thanks for sharing.
That's right my friend, it will never go out of style. It is a jewel
This is without a doubt one of my favorite animes of all time. The animation is so classic, the construction of this wide universe, the futuristic mix with cowboys and bounty hunters, the development of each of the characters and the way of telling us a story without giving so many twists and turns or complications to culminate it in a way that entertains and leaves us thinking, it's simply a wonder what this anime can achieve.
Good review.
You are absolutely right. It is an excellent anime, a classic. I think everyone who considers themselves an anime lover should have a memory of Spike, and those who don't is because they haven't seen it yet.
It is an excellent story
