Good day, amazing people of the Hive blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another beautiful week. #ladiesofhive topic: Do you prefer working from home or going to the office? Why?
As humans, we all have our different choices. There are some that prefer working in an office, while there are some who prefer working from the comfort of their home. I have worked with an organization for over five years, and it was not easy for me. I remember back then my prayer point was always for God to give me an online job because back then the working environment was no longer conducive for them; the pressure was immense. At one point I started facing harassment at work. Whenever I wake up and I remember going to work, I am always bitter. The moment an opportunity came out for me to work from the comfort of my home, I didn't think twice; I grabbed the opportunity immediately.
Both offline and online work are like two sides of a coin; if I should flip it right now, I prefer working from the comfort of my home. This is what I am comfortable with, not that it is the best. I will not lie; working from the comfort of my home is the best decision I have ever made so far.
First, the flexibility of time allows you to choose a time that suits you and set your own schedule. There is nothing like work stress when you work from the comfort of your home. Nobody will boss you around or talk down to you. You still have time to do other things. When I was doing offline work, I hardly had time for myself; the schedule was so tight I hardly had time to hang out with my friends and family members. Online work offers you freedom and more opportunities. There is a possibility that you can have one or two jobs online, while offline you can't do more than one work. Working at home without any pressure in a conducive environment at the comfort of your home will help to reduce stress.
Omo, I will not lie, working from the comfort of your home helps you save. You will not waste money on transport; you don't need to buy lunch. That means you are saving more money. You get to connect with people online. The pay online is far better than offline work. With online work, you are not just limited to your local area.
For me, online work is the best. One thing about us humans is we like to socialise, but for someone like me, I enjoy my own company because friends can be complicated at times. Working offline, I get to know that the working environment is full of fake people. Working online is the best, and it has really helped me a lot. I will pick online work over and over again.
