Nvidia GTC Day #2 - Actifit Report Card: March 17 2026

Alright guys (and gals), it is officially the end of Day #2 of the Nvidia GTC 2026 event. (Yes technically there were workshops on Sunday which would make today day #3 but that was separate so I am not counting it).

And since it's the end of the day, it is time to open my Actifit app and see how many steps my Android phone says I took today!
(I have a Garmin Forerunner watch and it will not sync up to Actifit even with Health Connect so oh well)

I got to the convention center super early due to a training lab class I had early and there wasn't 'too many' people here yet haha.

I do love all the branding and marketing and signage that is around the complex.

But maybe if Nvidia spent less on all the fancy signage.. then they could lower the price of their GPU's by a couple bucks!

There is an outside park area with a bunch of food tents and Vendor booths and it's a nice change of pace from the inside craziness.

HPE and Dell are here to party!!! Oh and Mistral.ai too 😎

And as a bonus... At night there is a love band rocking out!

And all the fun friends are here to party too!!

But as much as I love the weather over here in San Jose, California... I could never get behind these gas prices. When I left the Midwest, gas was $3.20 per gallon and it's almost double that here.

And to all of you non-American's. $5.99/gallon is $1.58 per liter.
