My Actifit Report Card: March 15 2026

This week I am on another work trip but this time to Sunny California. I am going to be here all week but today was extra 'fun' because I had to leave my house at 4am and I had a 2hr layover and then got to the event and walked more than I care to admit.

But that also means more steps. Which is why you see the 15k steps. Airport walking is the GOAT strategy to Actifit Daily Steps goals, I swear.

But where did it all start?

Flying over some.beautiful mountain ranges. People not from the US may not understand why we Americans fly so much. But if I was to drive from the east coast to the west coast of the Continental US... It would take days/week to do. Or 6hr flight gets the job done!

But also anytime I fly out I need to pay the Pokemon Tax...

That is THE vending machine at my airport that sells various Trading Card Games at a insane markup.

Keep in mind, in a perfect world.....a single pack of Pokemon cards "should" cost $5 USD.

And we won't even talk about the ETB's ..

But back to me walking around airports. I came across this little cute robot guy who is a wheelchair heading back to home base after a job well done?

But then after 2 flights and 3 timezone changes, I arrived in California and even though it's not new to me... As someone from the Midwest of the US, I don't know why but I love seeing the mountain ranges.
