A new day!
Today was a better day!
I had a descent rest last night.
Still a little tired, hopefully it will pass before the weekend!
What is this weekend?
It's the first weekend of camping up at our trailer, for the season.
I am super excited!
Last year was @bradleyarrow's first time camping with me.
We will be going on atv rides, having camp fires, making s'mores! Yummy😋
Most importantly, making memories!
My son Ryan got to experience something awesome today!
It is on my bucket list to do, little bugger got to experience first.
He went on a helicopter ride!
He was going to Glovers Island, an island in Grand Lake, to bid on a job!
As I said before, he is a carpenter by trade, a good one at that.
A company is putting a goldmine there, lots of money to be made.
I wish him the best of luck!
He was excited about the whole thing.
When they got close to the island, they could not land, the wind was too high coming off Grand Lake.
Here a couple of pictures.

Riding in style!

A picture of the town of Deer Lake, where he was raised.
They will give it another try soon, to get on the island.
I am so proud of all that he accomplished in the past 3 1/2 years.
He is a recovering drug addict, crack cocaine was his choice of drugs.
He lost everything he owned.
His children, truck, job, house and me.
It was a awful time in our lives.
He ended up in jail for 8 months, where he decided to change his life around.
I ended up with his boys, his wife at the time was gone off her rocker also.
She currently is still living her life as an addict.
She hasn't seen her boys for 3 years now.
Ryan got rid of her while they were doing drugs.
Ryan is engaged to marry again, she also was an addict.
Together they changed their lives around.
She also has 2 children.
Ryan got out of jail November, 2023, it wasn't an easy road let me tell you.
So much hurt, pain, healing, forgiveness, was felt by all of us.
Slowly but surely he picked up the pieces and rebuilt his life.
From the ground up.
He obeyed every rule he had to follow, curfew, home by 8pm, he lived with my Aunt.
Someone knew what he was like before he was an addict, and gave him a job.
He always said that Ryan is a good person/worker, he just went down the wrong path.
Fast forward to today, he got his own company, he is hiring workers for the up coming work season.
That my friends is a big accomplishment.
I left a lot of details out, way too much for me to type, and I like to leave it where it is, in the past!
It just goes to show, that anyone can change and deserves a second chance!
I love my son with all of my heart, I am so grateful for prayers and to him to be the son, dad and soon to be husband that he is.
Good night, God Bless🙏
Life is good💞
It is such an amazing story. It truly shows that anyone can change their lives around no matter what road then down.
Loves you my sweetness.

It's wonderful to read about Ryan incredible progress and how he's managed to overcome so many challenges to rebuild his life.
Without a doubt, he is an example of strength, perseverance and the importance of second chances.
Also, how exciting that this weekend is the start of camping season.
It sounds like an experience full of fun, adventure, and unforgettable moments.
