ENGLISH
Good evening and sweet dreams.
Today I find myself scrolling through the posts of this community and I gladly decide to take part in this week's contest. The theme is truly beautiful.
Thank you @nainaztengra, your proposal is a journey back to childhood. I'll go with both questions.
My favorite fairy tale
As a child, books were my first home. I learned to read at three years old, and by six I had already devoured almost every children's story that lived on my home's shelves—and there were quite a few.
Since then, words and fantasy have walked with me like two faithful shadows.
My childhood passed between golden-haired princesses, shadow monsters, and adventures that smelled of ink and danger. But among all those worlds, there was always one that shone with a different light. I don't know if it was the tenderness of that father asking for a rose for his daughter, or the strange kinship I felt for the beast with the sad eyes, which has made me believe to this day that behind every being with wickedness, we can always find its good side. The thing is, Beauty and the Beast remains, even today, my favorite tale.
I love every single one of its versions, every reinterpretation in theater, cinema, or dance. Because that story hasn't aged with me; it remains fresh, and every time I see it, it awakens something new in me—something I still don't fully understand, and perhaps that's exactly why I keep loving it.
The innocence of believing
I think that life among fantasies, with my head always buried in a book, gifted me with an uncommon innocence. So much so that it wasn't until I was past ten years old that I finally found out where children came from.
Because I had already read in my fairy tales that the characters had children, of course. But it never occurred to me to wonder how they got there. The answer, to me, was as obvious as it was simple: from mommy's belly. My childhood theory held that children magically appeared in that womb as soon as two people got married. All it took was for them to get together, supposedly out of love, because they wanted to share their lives, and—poof!—the woman would wake up pregnant. Then, for the delivery, they would perform surgery and the baby would come out.
Today, my friends, I am a doctor. Really. But you can believe me when I tell you that at ten years old, my mom bought me a book titled Are You Already Thinking About Love? and there, among its pages and with the help of biology classes, I found all the answers I had never looked for. My mom never had to give me "the talk" because I simply never asked.
It sounds ridiculous, I know. But it's the pure truth. And now, among patients and diagnoses, I still smile when I remember that little girl who believed that babies arrived with the marriage certificate.

PORTUGUÊS
Boa noite e doces sonhos.
— a mulher amanhecia grávida.
Minha mãe nunca precisou me dar "a conversa" porque eu, simplesmente, nunca perguntei.

Some of these fairy tales which were common 50 to 60 years back, they are still so much in trend, like the beauty and the beast itslef.
I can imagine, as a child how it would be to start understanding how babies are born. In my time also it was like, sex education was never there. You just get to know as you grow up. Now a days kids are very smart, I guess by 6 to 7 years only they know all of this.

Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorites tales, it was ground breaking to me as a tale of two journeys that eventually intertwine. Complex and well written for a typical Disney production. The journey of the hero is just as vital as that of the heroine to make the story reach it's climax and conclusion almost faithful to the original 1740 story by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve.
A similar story in the same genre as, The Phantom of the Opera. I loved the theater production ❤️
