Day 2908 | Walking Khao Takiab to Khao Tao Beach

** This is my first time using worldmappin so if I did anything wrong please point it out to me so I can adjust it!

One of the things that I wanted to do during my stay here in Hua Hin was to explore the Khao Takiab Monkey Mountain followed by walking the coastline of Khao Takiab toward Khai Tao

It was quite hot during the day so I aimed to do the walk somewhere between 17:00 and 19:30 which is the best time as the sun slowly goes away along with the heat. So I first headed out to Monkey Mountain with the intention to take one of those green busses who drive the Hua Hin Strip. I missed one of them though while already walking but I did catch a 2nd one who had someone exiting just where I was.

Once there, I first had some water near the bottom of the mountain before taking the stairs up.

It was a bit of a search from there on out to see where I needed to go. I did pass a statue and a first viewing point where I already could see the end of the beach of Khao Tao where I planned to walk to.

There were some monkeys and some dogs so I didn't 100% feel that safe so I seached for a stick on my way up.

I did get to a temple but didn't take the stairs up as I wasn't dressed properly so I headed down again with the aim to go to Khao Takiab Beach. On my way down, I passed a small fishing village.

I had to walk a bit toward the beach but when I arrived there, the weather and the position of the sun were perfect.

So I took off my shoes and started walking the coastline with my feet just in the wather having no clue how long wit would take to reach the end.

It felt like I already walked quite a bit but make no progress whatsoever. Still I was quite determined to make it to the end so I kept walking while it slowly got darker.

I also passed this regular house which was sitting just next to the beach. My phone was at 20% at that point so I wanted to conserve energy and it was getting more dark.

I was making progress though and after around 90 minutes of walking the coastline, I got near the end passing by some café and restaurants.

Once there, I headed to the road and ordered a grab back which was super convenient taking about 20 minutes of driving. I was back at my condo around 20:00, went for a swim and afterward got something to eat.

So somewhat of an adventure on the day while I also wasn't really blown away. Still a nice walk and a good environment.

Next Day Goals: I will once again join a Muay Thai Boxing class and around 17:30, I will be heading out to the Tuesday market where I will meet up with my Girlfriend here.
