Day 2752 | 1.7km Swim, Making Dinner & Movie

I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog to keep track of all my activity. I enjoyed it and continued afterward trying to build better habits and find a good balance between health, fitness, work, entertainment, and my personal life...


Tuesday was a pretty standard enjoyable Family day. It had been a while since I made dinner for the family and with the rainy weather along with the fact that our do had somewhat of a limp last Friday, I swapped a long afternoon dog walk for some fun kitchen time making a fresh Vegeatble Curry with Rice which turned out to be a great success. Before that on the way to my parents, I went for a Swim of just over 1 hour doing a modest 1.7km getting in that activity for the day. I also had some good social time with my mom and my nieces. I was back at my appartment around 22:00 and ended up watching a dutch movie (Voor De Meisjes / Our Girls) which really captured my attention from start to finish. So a pretty good Tuesday.

Wow, swimming! That's one of the things I don't know. I wasn't able to learn swimming because I had phobia when I was in in grade 6. I almost drowned in the sea and luckily, I survived after nearly 30 minutes under the water.

Wow that's a pretty shocking story. Sounds like a small miracle that you survived, I hope that it didn't leave anything permanent aside from your phobia.
