Day 2657 | Playing Red Dead Redemption 2 & Evening Walk

I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog to keep track of all my activity. I enjoyed it and continued afterward trying to build better habits and find a good balance between health, fitness, work, entertainment, and my personal life...


Whenever I start to get into Video Games it's usually not the best sign for my balanced healthy lifestyle goals so I really need to watch out. In the end, there are only that many hours in a day and gaming easily can start taking up a lot of time. I only really played Balatro as a game for fun this year where I'm at 9 out of 15 decks that I have beaten at gold stake with the goal to finish all of them before moving on from it. The number of hours on 'howlongtobeat' balatro at completionist stands at 246 and I might already be over that. The main story of RDR2 is at 50 Hours+ and knowing at which pace I play these games for me it will easily be tripple that. Right now I'm in chapter 2 and I'm a bit torn between really going for it digging into this game looking up all kinds of tips & tricks on the side to enhance my playtrough knowing it will likely become one of the games (like many others in the past) that I look back on with a joyful memory. It's either this or fully skipping it and I'm not quite sure yet what too choose.

ideally I can combine it with a balanced lifestyle and maybe a start would be to get up earlier, get in some productivity right away to also have time to be active, make healthy food and have some fun playtime. It's easier said than done though as I tend to choose the easy route only really doinh the thing I enjoy the most which obviously backfires.
