What Community Do You Want to Join?

I've been thinking quite a bit about starting my own community here on Hive. I want it to be something where it draws people here on Hive to it, but especially people from outside Hive. Why? Onboarding.

People want to interact, share their passion and be part of a community. Reddit is a great example of this. The difference is people earn nothing for their time, while Reddit takes everything. The problem is people feel like they belong and it's relevant to them, so they stay.

The best way to get people interested in joining is through content that speaks to people, and they want to be part of. It needs to be something common to all of us and not unique to Hive itself. Even though someone could get that same content somewhere else, they can't be rewarded for it anywhere else.

I want to create that community, grow it, curate it, and have it be a beacon to draw others to Hive. I want it to eventually take on a life of its own without me. As such, it also needs to be a community created with input from others who would want to join it, create, grow it and keep it going.

I have some ideas but I want to hear from you.

What kind of community would you like to be a part of and create in daily or weekly?

Haha yes, they certainly are. This would be to help bring even more attention to Hive with something more broad that would attract more people from Web2.
