Silver Breaks Through to $80/Ounce

It's fun to watch the price of silver and speculate. I find it amusing when people try to argue the price is unlikely to find a floor at $65 just because it dipped below it momentarily during one day of trading. I'm no expert and certainly don't know exactly what silver will do, but it's fun to see silver defying expectations.

When I saw silver had surpassed $80/ounce I couldn't help but smirk.

I'm enjoying the price discovery, and seeing it made me think of a line from Toby Keith, where he sings "How do you like me now? Now that I'm on my way?" It's a great song, so I'd encourage everyone to listen to it at least once:

It seems like silver has caught its stride again despite the temporary distraction with oil and the Iran conflict. If this can't stop it, imagine what price will do once the Iran situation is over? For now, we'll sit back and enjoy the show!

It's in a steady upward trend rather than the leaps and bounds back in November to January action before the much needed correction. In hindsight the late 2025 monster surge ran way ahead of itself. That was so unreal.
The Silver and gold thesis has not changed so keep stacking and or scrapping @bulliontools

I am unsure if that was the best way to handle dropping reality on her ass. But, it was quite satisfying.

I could have bought a 10oz silver bar at CostingCo for $777 the other day, if only i had remember to pack more Benjamins in my pocket before heading out.

So, what allocation? Between cash and silver. Do you think is correct? It feels like the days where i need cash, and won't be able to get any are coming soon. (bank closures)

Yeah, the way he drops it on her is brutal, but definitely an amusing video.

I'm honestly not sure on what a good cash vs silver allocation would be. I hesitate to give a number since the dollar is losing value and holding too much may not be ideal.

Right? Yeah, it was sad to lose him.

I wouldn't be surprised if we hit $100 by the end of the year, but who knows if something else will happen to add extra uncertainty into the market.

U.S. Stable Coinage will have 100 times more Spending Power than todays Fiat USD’s… In other words, todays Melt Value of Silver will be about $0.80 per ounce, on its way to $9.00 per ounce, if measured in tomorrow’s U.S. Stable Coinage…
