Scratched My New Ring
I went on a cruise the first week of June, and while I was in Skagway I picked up a new ring. I don't buy a lot of things for myself outside of gold and silver bullion. My wife even commented that I haven't bought myself a gun in years, so getting the ring was no big deal.
I know it's going to get scratched over time. It's just the nature of things. Part of me hoped the scratches would be minor. I spun the ring over today and happened to notice this at a glance.
I must've accidentally smacked my hand up against something. It's a bit more than a surface scratch, so it won't buff out unless I take it to a jeweler. Deep down I know it's likely going to happen again, so I might as well accept it. Still, I keep kicking myself for managing to scratch it that much after just three weeks.
Oh well. First world problems.

That's part of the reason I have never bought a really nice watch. I would destroy it.

Gold is just so soft they scratch up so easy... I don't own any gold jewelry that I actually wear anymore, it just always got beat up. A bit part of the reason I never picked up a Rolex back when I was making really good money, I knew it would get beat up!

Yeah, it's hard but I couldn't resist this one.
We ended up going to Alaska. We started in Juneau and went through Skagway, Ketchikan and Victoria. 🙂
