1oz Silver Mint State Gold .45ACP Bullet

I don't normally buy stuff like this, but when you get an Amazon gift card from work and have nothing better to spend it on, why not? That was my reasoning when I came across this online and decided to buy it.

At $55, it's not even remotely cost-effective, but when you get a gift card, that's a different story. It was even free with Prime shipping, so it got here in just a few days.

It's pretty cool and surprisingly smooth. Since this came from Amazon, I decided to test it to be sure it's genuine.

It's too small to test with the Sigma's standard sensor for coins, rounds, and bars, so I had to use the small wand attachment.

It came up as genuine, but just to be safe, I figured I'd weigh it.

One Troy Ounce is 31.1 grams, so this only being slightly off wasn't concerning to me.

If you come across one of these closer to spot, I'd say grab one for the novelty of it. Otherwise, wait until you get a gift card because these silver bullets are cool, but spendy!
