Summary of April's 2nd EoS: Buying/upgrading rare reward cards, opening Gladius cases [Eng/Esp]
Greetings and happy Friday, Splinterfam! We've finished April, and with it comes the time to take stock of the end of the season. Personally, I managed to advance to Gold League II. As we upgraded our various reward cards and unlocked their abilities, the variety of new strategies and lineups allowed us to climb the Gold League. In the end, our total Glints earned was 138,670, and we gained about 584 SPs in taking. Regarding the SPs, I'm a little frustrated because I missed a Brawl battle where we ended up in first place, and I didn't receive any reward. I felt disappointed by that since I really enjoy guild battles and hanging out with my Summoners Tribe teammates, but overall, it's the glints I wanted to focus on since I have a long task ahead of me to upgrade my reward cards.
Saludos y feliz viernes Splinterfam! Hemos terminado el mes de abril y con él llego la hora de hacer nuestro balance del final de temporada. En lo personal logré avanzar hasta la liga de oro II, en la medida que hemos logrado upgradear nuestras distintas cartas rewards y desbloqueando sus habilidades, la variedad de nuevas estrategias y alineaciones nos han permitido avanzar en la liga dorada. Al final, nuestro balance total de Glints generados fue de 138670 Glints y unos 584 Sps en taking, en cuanto a los sps si me siento un poco frustrado ya que me perdí una batalla Brawl en la que al final quedamos de 1eros y no pude percibir ninguna recompensa. Me sentí abatido por eso ya que disfruto mucho de las batallas de gremios y compartir con mis compañeros de Summoners Tribe, pero en general, son los glints en lo que quería enfocarme ya que tengo una larga tarea pendiente de upgradear mis cartas rewards.

At the end of March and throughout April, I dedicated myself to completing my common reward cards. I must admit that this has taken me longer than expected, but every time new skins are released between seasons, like the Easter ones, I can't resist and end up spending a good portion of my glints on them. But finally, I can say that I've completed this first phase of upgrading my common cards, which are all now at level 5 or higher.
Al final del mes de marzo y en todo este mes de abril me dediqué a completar mis cartas comunes rewards, debo reconocer que esto me ha tomado más tiempo del esperado, pero es que cada vez que entre temporadas salen nuevas skins como los de pascuas no puedo contenerme y termino gastando una buena parte de mis glints en ellas. Pero finalmente ya puedo decir que cerré esta primera fase temporal de mis cartas comunes que ya están todas en nivel 5 o superior.
Now, with the glints we've earned in this EoS, the most urgent thing is to buy the rare reward cards. We've acquired most of them from chests and a few very limited purchases with the few glints we had left, but now we're going to invest heavily in these cards since I barely have any at level 1 and very few at level 2. So we spent the bulk of our reward tokens on 92 rare cards, and the most outstanding results are those I show you below.
Ahora con estos glints que hemos ganado en este EoS, lo más urgente es comprar las cartas raras de recompensa. Hemos conseguido la mayoría de ellas en cofres y una que otra compra muy limitada con los pocos glints que nos sobraban, pero ahora si vamos a invertir a fondo en estas cartas ya que apenas las tengo en nivel 1 y muy pocas en nivel 2. Así gastamos el grueso de nuestros tokens de recompensas en 92 cartas raras y los resultados más destacados son los que te muestro a continuación.

In this case, since they were rare cards, I did use the alchemy potions I had saved. I hadn't realized it before, but with common cards, I saw how quickly these potions are consumed, so I decided it was better to invest them in higher rarity cards. I was very lucky to get not only two rare gold foil cards, but they're also the same ones, so I can fuse them to get them to level 3.
En este caso, al ser cartas raras si utilicé las pociones de alquimia que tenía guardadas. No me había dado cuenta pero con las cartas comunes me di cuenta de lo rápido que se consumen estas pociones así que decidí que era mejor invertirlas en cartas de mayor rareza. Tuve la gran suerte de conseguir no solo 2 cartas raras de lámina dorada, sino que además son las mismas, así que podré fusionarlas para tenerlas en nivel 3.
Okay, with this large batch of rare cards acquired, we can upgrade many of them. Let's explore which ones we managed to upgrade to higher levels and what potential advantages they offer.
Ok, Con este gran lote de cartas raras adquiridas, podremos upgradear muchas de ellas, vamos a explorar cuales logramos llevar a niveles superiores y que potenciales ventajas ofrecen.
Upgrading Fire Cards/Upgrading Cartas de Fuego
Let's start with the Fire class. Here, we only managed to get Grove Doomblade to level 3. This card has been a recurring drop in chests, so it wasn't too difficult to get it to level 3. In fact, I only need two more copies to have it at the maximum level in the Silver League, but since I don't usually use this melee card much with the Fire Archon due to its low speed, I'll wait until I get it in a chest or during the next bulk purchase of rare reward cards.
Comencemos con la clase fuego, aquí solo logramos llevar a nivel 3 a Grove Doomblade, esta ha sido una carta recurrente en cofres por lo que no me costó mucho llevarla a nivel 3, de hecho solo me faltan 2 copias para tenerla al máximo nivel en la liga de plata pero ya que no suelo usar mucho esta carta melé con el arconte de fuego por su baja velocidad, esperaré a que me salga en algún cofre o en la próxima compra masiva de cartas raras rewards.
Upgrading Water Cards/Upgrading Cartas de Agua
Reckless
In the water class, we leveled up Torrent Sniper to level 3. I was very interested in leveling this card, as it develops the Painforge ability, which allows it to increase its damage every time it takes damage of any kind, such as from units with the Reckless ability, but also from Electrify or Incendiary. This is one of the abilities I consider a fundamental pillar when playing exclusively with Conclave Arcana cards. That's why I'm focusing my attention on cards with the painforge ability to build a lineup that gradually increases its damage.
En la clase agua llevamos a nivel 3 a Torrent Sniper, esta carta si tenía un gran interés en llevarla a nivel 3, pues desarrolla la habilidad painforge que le permite aumentar su daño cada vez que recibe daño de algún tipo, como por ejemplo de unidades con la habilidad Reckless principalmente, pero también electrificar o incendiario. Esta es una de las habilidades que considero un pilar fundamental cuando se trata de jugar exclusivamente con carta Conclave Arcana. Es la razón por la que estoy poniendo mi interés en las cartas con la habilidad painforge para construir una alineación que gradualmente vaya aumentando su daño.
Upgrading Earth Cards/Upgrading Cartas de Tierra
With the Earth class, we'll upgrade two rare cards: Swampwrought, which I don't see much use for beyond flying, so I'll have to keep leveling it up to increase its damage. The second card is Anchor-Hex Adept. This is a very interesting card because at level 3 it develops the Divine Shield ability, which allows it to absorb any first attack. But it becomes even more interesting at level 4, when it gains the Void Armor ability, making this unit very resilient and capable of withstanding up to three attacks before taking real damage.
Con la clase tierra upgradeamos las 2 cartas raras: Swampwrought que es una carta que más allá de volar no le veo mayor utilidad por lo que tendré que continuar subiendo su nivel para aumentar su daño, la segunda carta es Anchor-Hex Adept, esta es una carta muy curiosa, porque en nivel 3 desarrolla la habilidad divine shield que le permite absorber cualquier primer ataque, pero se vuelve más interesante en nivel 4 que tiene la habilidad void armor, lo que convierte a esta unidad en una muy resistente capaz de soportar hasta 3 ataques antes de comenzar sufrir verdadero daño.
Upgrading Life Cards/Upgrading Cartas de Vida
Pixie-Knife Hurler is a key card for the Life class. The Life Splinter's focus in Conclave Arcana seems to be on long-range attacks. This particular card can attack in the first position thanks to its close range ability, but where this card really shines is at level 4 where it can increase the speed of the entire team by +1.

Upgrading Death Cards/Upgrading Cartas de Muerte
Execute
Gravebrand Warlock was another rare card I obtained frequently from reward chests while climbing the leagues, so we've managed to upgrade it to the maximum level in the Silver League with this massive purchase of rare cards. I really wanted to get this card to level 4 because of its Execute ability, which is a huge advantage when performing a finishing attack if the target is left with 1 or 2 health, as this card deals 3 magic damage. For now, I can say that we've reached our initial goal with this rare card.
Gravebrand Warlock fue otra de las cartas raras que más obtuve en los cofres de recompensa al subir en las distintas ligas, por lo que hemos logrado llevarla al máximo nivel de la liga de plata con esta compra masiva de cartas raras. Deseaba mucho tener esta carta en nivel 4 por su habilidad execute, que es una gran ventaja al realizar un ataque de remate si el objetivo queda con 1 o 2 de vida, ya que esta carta hace 3 de daño mágico. Por ahora puedo decir que hemos llegado a la meta inicial con esta carta rara.
Upgrading Dragon Cards/Upgrading Cartas Dragon
I'm still lacking in the Dragon class; I only have a couple of Core/Escalation cards from Arcana Conclave and a few from Rebellion, but as I've said many times, I'm adapting to playing as little as possible with the rip-off that was Rebellion. I've already got my eye on several Dragon Core cards that I want to buy, but first I need to get my hands on the last legendary Dragon Archon: Dragonlore Mancer, to start using these cards. In that context, we're already getting ahead by leveling up this rare card, Dragonfang Lancer, to level 3. I'm actually interested in testing this card at level 4 when it has the Reflexes ability. According to the description, upon receiving a first attack, all subsequent attacks from the unit that successfully attacked the first time will fail. My question is whether this ability applies when the attacker has the True Strike ability or when it's a magic attack.
Con la clase dragón si que estoy en deuda todavía, apenas tengo un par de cartas Core/Escalation de Conclave Arcana y otras de Rebellion pero como ya he dicho en múltiples ocasiones estoy adaptándome a jugar lo menos posible con la estafa que fue Rebellion. Ya tengo vistas varias cartas dragón Core que quiero comprar pero antes necesito tener en mis manos el último arconte legendario dragón: Dragonlore Mancer para empezar a usar estas cartas y en ese contexto ya vamos adelantando al subir de nivel esta carta rara Dragonfang Lancer en nivel 3. En realidad me interesa poner a prueba esta carta en nivel 4 cuando tiene la habilidad reflexes, según lo que dice, al recibir un primer ataque, todos los demás ataques los fallará la unidad que lo atacó exitosamente la primera vez. Mi duda es si esta habilidad se cumple cuando el atacante tiene la habilidad true strike o cuando es un ataque mágico.
Upgrading Neutral Cards/Upgrading Cartas Neutras
To wrap up this preview of upgraded cards, we have Mindless Thrall, which, along with Gravebrand Warlock, I wanted to get to at least level 3. It doesn't develop any new abilities, but it does increase its magic damage to 3. This is critical if you use the Water Archon Marlai Singariel, which increases magic damage by 1. With a Mindless Thrall dealing 4 damage, it becomes much more effective. The best way to place it is between the second and third positions, since it has a high evasion rate that includes magic attacks thanks to its phase ability.
Para cerrar este avance de cartas upgradeadas, tenemos a Mindless Thrall que junto a Gravebrand Warlock deseaba llevar al menos a nivel 3. No desarrolla ninguna habilidad nueva, pero si incrementa su daño mágico a 3, esto es crítico si utilizas el arconte de agua Marlai Singariel que aumenta el daño mágico en 1, con un Mindless Thrall haciendo 4 de daño, se vuelve mucho más efectivo ahora. La mejor manera de ubicarlo es entre la segunda y tercera posición, ya que tiene una alta tasa de evasión que incluye ataques mágicos gracias a su habilidad phase.
Opening Gladius Cases/Abriendo Gladius Cases
I spent the few Glints I had left on some merits to reach the 8000 I needed and buy 4 Gladius Cases. I had a feeling I'd get some good cards, and I wasn't wrong! I got 2 epic cards and several other rare ones, including a Captain Katie, the last copy I needed to get it to level 7!
Los pocos Glints que me quedaron los gastamos en unos cuantos méritos para completar los 8000 que me hacían falta y comprar 4 gladius cases ya que tenía el presentimiento de que obtendría buenas cartas y no me equivoqué, conseguí 2 cartas épicas y varias otras raras, entre ellas una Captain Katie, la última copia que me faltaba para llevarla a nivel 7!
Captain Katie is a powerful card. In fact, when it was first released in Modern, which consisted of Untamed/Chaos Legion cards, this was the third magic card with the snipe ability. This was because magic attacks dealt a lot of damage, and a card targeting ranged/magic units in the second row with magic could literally break the opponent's strategy. That's why there weren't many cards like that. In fact, Captain Katie is the most powerful, and she's also a gladiator. Now that we have her at level 7, we can take advantage of her speed boost with an epic archon like Sthispa, who I currently have at level 5.
Captain Katie es una poderosa carta, de hecho cuando salió por primera vez cuando moderno estaba compuesto por las cartas Untamed/Chaos Legion, esta era la tercera carta mágica con la habilidad snipe, esto era así porque los ataques mágicos hacían un gran daño y que una carta apuntara a las unidades rango/mágicas de la segunda fila con magia podía literalmente quebrar la estrategia del oponente por eso no habían muchas cartas así. De hecho Captain Katie es la más poderosa que además es gladiadora. Ahora que la tenemos en nivel 7 podemos aprovechar su plus de velocidad con un arconte épico como Sthispa que tengo actualmente en nivel 5.
I'm still a long way from upgrading the epic cards. I need six more copies of Gorth to get it to level 4. This is a very useful card in battle with rules like Opportunist or Super Sneak, especially when combined with Jacek the Conqueror. The other is Marisol Contuma, which we already have at level 4, and we need eight more copies for the maximum level in the Gold League. I'm not in a hurry, though; as it is, it's very useful when I use the Life class in guild battles.
De las cartas épicas aún estoy muy lejos de upgradear estas cartas, de Gorth me faltan 6 copias para llevarla a nivel 4, esta es una carta muy conveniente en batalla con reglas como oportunist o supersneak, sobre todo si la combinas con Jacek the Conqueror. La otra es Marisol Contuma que ya la tenemos en nivel 4 y nos faltan 8 copias para el máximo nivel de la liga de oro, aunque no tengo prisa, así como esta me es muy útil cuando uso la clase vida en batallas de gremio.

With this, I conclude my recap of this end of the season. We've made significant progress with the rare reward cards, and I think I can now better solidify my position in Gold League II. For now, I'll be preparing to buy the last legendary dragon archon. I'll start building my Arcane Conclave deck with that archon, and then I'll move on to the first legendary dragon archon, Shen Xiao, and finally the elementals. Con esto cierro mi recapitulación de este final de temporada, avanzamos significativamente con las cartas rewards raras, creo que ahora podré afianzar mejor mi posición en la liga de oro II. Por lo pronto me estaré preparando para comprar el último arconte legendario dragón. Será a partir de ese arconte que voy a comenzar a construir mi mazo de Conclave Arcana y posteriormente seguiré con el 1er arconte dragón legendario Shen Xiao y después seguiré con los elementales.
