#MyHiveGoals week #6: My progress in the second week of February on HP/HBD and second layer tokens [Eng/Esp]

Hey everyone! Happy start to the week! For those of us in the tropics, these are days off since we're celebrating Carnival. I didn't have any plans to travel these days because I'm still working on a scientific publication. One of the professors at my department took advantage of this to leave me in charge of her cat while she goes to the beach for a few days. Her name is Ruperta, and it's not the first time I've been asked to look after her. As you can see, she's very flirtatious and a bit of a diva. She loves posing for the camera! I really enjoy her company; she's helped me a lot to overcome the grief I felt after losing my pet a couple of years ago. So, while I make myself a coffee with Ruperta, I wanted to give a quick update on #MyHiveGoals for the week that just ended. Let's start with the current price of our Hive token.

Last week was tough for us on Hive; our main token plummeted to $0.067! And I had bought 2760 Hives at $0.109, thinking it had bottomed out. That was three months ago, and since then, all I've done is watch the price gradually and inexorably decline, powerless to do anything about it. Well, I could do something: transfer it to HBD and protect its value, but I use some of those liquid Hives for daily and monthly power-ups. It was still a bit sad to see it drop so dramatically last week. The good news is that it's been stabilizing around $0.072 these past few days, and with two weeks still left in March, I'm hoping we'll hit $0.10 again by then.

Hive/HP

Let's start with our voting power. As you know, since last week, post rewards have been distributed in HP and liquid Hive tokens, which means we'll have to exchange those Hives on HBD with the corresponding commission. But we've kept pace with HP. If there's one good thing about the low price of Hive, it's that we'll receive more tokens in the form of HP, which helps us progress more effectively toward our goals this year. We went from 8259 HP last week to 8387 HP, and if we're lucky, we'll be quite close to 9000 HP by the end of February.

HBD Savings

Now let's look at our HBD savings. Obviously, in this section, we sum up all the Hive rewards obtained throughout last week and convert them to HBD. As you can see, our HBD balance is zero since everything was given to us in Hive, so we proceeded to perform the conversion directly from the keychain.

We converted 113.85 Hives into 8.7 HBD and then proceeded to lock them up for a total of 1852 HBD in savings. It's been interesting to see how HBD has become significantly useful in these circumstances because it protects us from these sharp changes in the value of Hive. Although, to be honest, when I started this systematic savings process with HBD, I did it mainly because of the attractive 20% APR initially, which is now 15%. After two years of accumulating HBD, I must say it's been a pleasant surprise to have 50% of my wallet value protected by this internal Hive stablecoin.

With a windfall of cash, I decided to invest some of it in two RWAs (Real-World Asset Tokens). These are tokens backed by real-world assets. The first was TGLD, which I regret not buying more of, and the second was TNVDA, a token equivalent to 1/100th of the price of an NVIDIA share. These are RWA projects launched by the inleo/leostrategy platform, which has so far launched three RWAs: TTSLA, TGLD, and TNVDA.

I only bought the latter two, as the Tesla one (TTSLA) didn't quite convince me, being the first one launched. However, the great advantage of these assets is that if you locked them in the first few days of the pre-sale, you earned a 20% APR, paid out daily as HBD (Hardness Bonus). With the current Hive/HP rewards situation, these two tokens are the only ones generating HBD for me! To be honest, I should have invested more in them, but I didn't have enough cash when they went pre-sale, especially TGLD. But at least we have two of the three RWAs. Maybe next time we'll invest a bit more in TGLD, which is the most appealing to me so far.

Finally, I had to share my progress with the BBHO token. Last week I reached another 1,000 tokens, which weren't easy to acquire. Currently, the token's price has tripled, and the supply is very limited, so I'm afraid it will be quite difficult to get those 1,000 BBHO tokens this week.

But the good news is that with 5,000 BBHO staked, we've reached 25% of our goal, which is 20,000 of this token locked up to get the much-desired drip on Swap.Btc. For now, I think with 5,000 BBHO I'm getting a drip of the Alive token, which isn't bad. Every little helps!

Que tal comunidad! Feliz inicio de semana, para los que estamos en el trópico estos días son de asueto ya que celebramos carnaval, yo no tenía planes de viajar estos día ya que continúo en proceso de escritura de una publicación científica. Esto lo aprovecho una de las profesoras de mi unidad docente para dejarme al cuidado de su gata mientras se va a tomar unos días de playa. Su nombre es Ruperta, no es la primera vez que me la encargan para cuidarla y como pueden ver es muy coqueta y diva. Le gusta posar para la cámara! La verdad que disfruto mucho su compañía me ha ayudado mucho a superar el duelo que tenía por la pérdida de mi mascota hace un par de años ya. Entonces mientras me preparo un café en compañía de Ruperta, quise hacer una breve actualización de #MyHiveGoals de la semana que acaba de terminar, así que comencemos con el precio actual de nuestro token Hive.

La semana pasada si que fue dura para nosotros en hive, nuestro token principal llego a caer hasta 0,067$! Y yo que había comprado 2760 Hives a un precio de 0,109$ pensando que había alcanzado su piso. De eso hace ya 3 meses y desde entonces lo único que he hecho es ver como el precio ha ido bajando gradualmente e inexorablemente, sin poder hacer nada. Bueno si podría hacer algo, pasarlo a HBD y resguardar su valor pero parte de esos hives líquidos los uso para los power up diarios y mensuales, pero fue un poco triste verlo caer tan dramáticamente la semana pasada. Lo bueno es que estos día se ha ido estabilizando sobre los 0,072$ a 2 semanas todavía del mes de marzo mis votos son para que toquemos nuevamente los 0,1$ para ese entonces.

Comencemos por nuestro poder de voto, como sabrán desde la semana pasada las recompensas de las publicaciones se están repartiendo en HP y Hive líquidos, lo que implica que tendremos que intercambiar esos hives en HBD con la respectiva comisión que eso conlleva. Pero en HP hemos mantenido el ritmo, si hay algo bueno del bajo precio de hive, es que recibiremos más tokens en forma de HP lo que nos ayuda a avanzar más eficazmente en nuestras metas de este año. Pasamos de 8259 la semana pasada a 8387 Hp, si tenemos suerte estaremos bastante cerca de los 9000 Hp para finales de Febrero.

Ahorros HBD

Vamos ahora con nuestro ahorros en HBD, obviamente en este apartado sumamos todas las recompenzas en Hive obtenidas a lo largo de la semana pasada y los convertimos en HBD. Como pueden ver los HBDs están en cero ya que todo nos lo dieron en hive, así que procedimos a realizar la conversión directamente desde keychain.

Convertimos 113. 85 Hives en 8.7 HBD y de allí procedimos a bloquearlos para un total de 1852 HBD en ahorros. Ha sido interesante ver como el HBD ha adquirido una utilidad significativa en estas circunstancias porque nos protege de estos bruscos cambios en el valor de Hive, aunque siendo honestos, cuando comencé este proceso de ahorro sistemático con el HBD, lo hice principalmente por lo atractivo que era ese 20% de APR inicialmente y que ahora es 15% de APR. Con 2 años acumulando HBDs debo decir que ha sido una grata sorpresa tener el 50% del valor de mi billetera resguardado bajo esta stablecoin interna de hive.

Tokens de 2da capa

Con una casual entrada de dinero que tuve, decidí poner parte de ellos en 2 RWA, estos son tokens respaldados por activos en el mundo real, el primero de ellos fue TGLD del cual me arrepiento de no haber comprado más y el segundo fue TNVDA que es un token equivalente a 1/100 del precio de una acción de NVIDIA. Estos son proyectos de RWA presentados por la plataforma de inleo/leostrategy que hasta ahora han presentado 3 RWA: TTSLA, TGLD y TNVDA.

Yo solo compré los dos últimos ya que el de Tesla no (TTSLA) no me convencía mucho al ser el primero en presentarse, pero la gran ventaja que tienen estos activos es que si los bloqueabas en los primeros días de la preventa obtenías de ellos un 20% de APR que se paga diariamente bajo la forma de HBD. Con la actual coyuntura de recompensas en Hive/HP, estos dos tokens son los únicos que me están generando HBD! Debí invertirles más siendo honestos pero no tenía suficiente liquidez en el momento que salieron a preventa, sobre todo TGLD, pero al menos tenemos 2 de los 3 RWA. Quizás en otra oportunidad invirtamos un poco más en TGLD que es hasta ahora el más atractivo para mi.

Por último, no podía dejar de compartirles mi avance en el token BBHO, la semana que terminó alcancé otros 1000 tokens que no fueron fáciles de conseguir. Actualmente el token ha triplicado su precio y la cantidad que se oferta es muy poca, por lo que me temo que esta semana estará bastante difícil conseguir esos 1000 BBHO.

Pero la buena noticia es que ahora con 5K de BBHO en staking llegamos al 25% de nuestra meta que son los 20K de este token bloqueados para obtener el tan deseado goteo en Swap.Btc, por lo pronto, creo que con 5K de BBHO recibo un goteo del token Alive que no esta mal. Todo suma!
