#MyHiveGoals initiative: Taking the first steps towards my 2026 goals and adding another second-layer token [Eng/Esp]
Hello, esteemed Loefinance and Hive community! Welcome to my first notes and progress regarding #MyHiveGoals for 2026. I decided to get inspired by opening my Secret Santa gift from mid-December: an extra-dark Páramo coffee, my favorite, which I decided to enjoy with a generously filled arepa with two types of cheese and ham. I want to start this report by somewhat continuing from my last report because there are a few things left unfinished. One of them is a truly complex achievement, and although it has nothing to do with Hive finance, it's certainly a feat within the platform: earning the 365-day posting badge! In my case, this is the second time in a row that I've achieved this, and I received it in my last Hive goal report on December 31st.
This was one of the most challenging and demanding goals I've set for myself, and of course, I'm going to achieve it again in 2026. Repeating this achievement for the third time in a row will be extremely difficult, especially given the political instability in my country, Venezuela. I won't lie, the atmosphere is quite tense due to recent events, but I will do my best to achieve this goal despite the circumstances.
Hive/Hp
I want to start by saying how frustrating it was to not receive my #HPUM achievement on the last day of December, even though I had performed the power-up right at the beginning of December 31st. What worries me about this is that I lost the chain of daily power-ups, which has a significant impact on the amount of HP delegated when you complete an #HPUM. I hope our friends at Hive Buzz realize this mistake because I don't think they've given this achievement to anyone, and I know several friends who are complaining about it.
Regarding Hive, I decided to fund my Hive Liquid wallet with $10 that I earned playing Splinterlands in order to do the daily power-ups. My goal is the same as last year: to power up every day of the year and increase my HP.
Now we have our HP; we're almost at 8,000, and I hope to reach 12,000 HP by 2026. It seems like a rather modest goal, but I should emphasize here that my rewards are split 50% HP and 50% HBD. And of course, there's always the option of funding my wallet, but given our current political circumstances, I see this year as quite bleak. Let's hope things here in Venezuela don't get any worse.

HBD Savings
Now we have my favorite section: my savings in the form of HBD. As I mentioned in my last report, I started with a little over 120 HBD at the beginning of 2024 and wanted to see how the compound interest snowballed, or rather, how that 15% APR plus 50% of my publishing income would grow. After two years, I must say that the growth has been significant, and although I didn't reach my goal last year of 1,800 HBD locked in, I was quite satisfied to have achieved this amount. Before starting this accumulation process, I made the stupid mistake of spending a large amount of HBDs on Splinterlands promotional cards right at the height of the NFT bubble. I'm now convinced we'll never see another bull market, and unfortunately, those of us who remain in Splinterlands will have to face reality: the devaluation of our assets until they reach their true value, which is nothing more than that of a simple digital card game.

This second week of 2016, we accumulated a little over 13 HBD to add to our locked savings pot. Our goal is to reach 2300 locked HBD by the end of 2026, and by the end of this first month, we'll surely reach 1800 HBD, to which we'll add the monthly interest, which I presume should be around 21 or 22 HBD.
Adding the second-layer token: EDSI
Finally, I want to share my most recent initiative regarding second-layer tokens. In previous reports, I mentioned my interest in only accumulating tokens that can generate Hive for me, either by holding or locking them up. EDSI is a project that points in that direction; simply holding this token guarantees an influx of liquid Hive, depending on how much you have in your wallet. I divided my strategy into two parts: first, I bought almost $13 worth of EDSI, which I also obtained from Splinterlands, giving you an idea of how little faith I have in this project's future. Second, I allocated a significant amount of HP to this project to generate EDSI, which in turn will generate more liquid Hive for me.
The other reason is that having over 2,000 HP delegates and over 100 EDSI in your wallet gave you the possibility of getting a positive vote, so it's a project that offers some very good things: a 1:1 token with Hive, which returns liquid Hive for holding it and being eligible for the possibility of a positive vote. I consider it a fairly complete project, similar to the Panda project, although Panda is newer than EDSI, but it's great to already have two second-layer tokens that return Hive.

Hola apreciada comunidad de Loefinance y Hive! Sean bienvenidos a mis primeros apuntes y avances con respecto a #MyHiveGoals del 2026. Decidí inspirarme abriendo mi regalo de amigo secreto que me hicieron a mediados de diciembre: un café extra oscuro marca Páramo, mi favorito y que decidí degustar con una arepa bien rellena con 2 tipos de queso y jamón. Quiero empezar este reporte dando en cierta forma continuación con mi último reporte porque quedaron algunas cosas pendientes. Una de ella es un logro realmente complejo y aunque no tiene nada que ver con finanzas de hive, es ciertamente una proeza dentro de la plataforma y se trata de haber conseguido la medalla de 365 días publicando! En mi caso ya es la segunda vez de forma seguida que consigo este logro y justamente me la dieron en mi último reporte de metas en hive que hice el 31 de diciembre.
Esta era una de las metas más arduas y laboriosas que me he impuesto y por supuesto que voy a encadenarla para este 2026, repetir este logro por tercera vez consecutiva va a ser extremadamente complicado ahora sobre todo por la situación de inestabilidad política en mi país Venezuela. No les mentiré el ambiente está bastante enrarecido por la forma en la que sucedieron los acontecimientos, pero haré mi mayor esfuerzo para lograr esta meta a pesar de las circunstancias.
Hive/Hp
Quiero comenzar por lo frustrante que fue ver que no me dieran mi logro del #HPUM el último día de diciembre y había hecho el power up justo al comenzar el 31 de diciembre. Lo que me preocupa de esto es que perdí la cadena de power ups diario que tiene un impacto importante sobre la cantidad de HP delegado cuando completas un #HPUM. Espero que nuestros amigos de Hive Buzz se den cuenta de este error porque creo que no le han dado este logro a nadie y conozco a varios amigos que se están quejando por esto.
Con respecto a Hive, decidí fondear mi billetera de hive liquido con 10$ que extraje jugando Splinterlands con el propósito de hacer los power up diarios. Mi meta vuelve a ser la misma que la del año pasado: lograr los 365 días del año haciendo power up y aumentar mi así mi HP.
Luego tenemos nuestro HP, ya nos falta poco para llegar a los 8000 y espero para este 2026 alcanzar los 12000 de HP. Parece una meta un tanto modesta pero debo recalcar aquí que mis recompensas están divididas en 50% HP y 50% HBD. Y por supuesto siempre esta la opción de fondear mi billetera, pero bajo nuestras actuales circunstancias políticas veo este año bastante oscuro esperemos que las cosas aquí en Venezuela no empeoren más.

Ahorros HBD
Ahora tenemos mi sección favorita que son mis ahorros bajo la forma de HBD, como mencioné en mi reporte pasado comensé con poco más de 120 HBD a comienzos del 2024 y deseaba ver la evolución o mejor dicho como crecía la bola de nieve de interés compuesto con ese 15% de APR + el 50% de ingresos por publicaciones. Después de 2 años debo decir que el crecimiento ha sido significativo y aunque no logré llegar a mi objetivo del año pasado que eran los 1800 de HBD bloqueados quedé bastante satisfecho de haber logrado alcanzar esta cantidad. Antes de comenzar este proceso acumulativo cometí el error estúpido de gastar una fuerte cantidad de HBDs en cartas promocionales de Splinterlands en pleno estallido de la burbuja de los NFT ya estoy convencido, jamás volveremos a ver un mercado alcista y lamentablemente los jugadores que quedamos en Splinterlands tendremos que afrontar la realidad: la devaluación de nuestros activos hasta que alcancen su precio real, que no es más que el de un simple juego de cartas digitales.

Esta segunda semana del 2016 acumulamos poco más de 13 HBD para sumar a nuestro pote de ahorros bloqueados. Añadiendo el token de segunda capa: EDSI
Por último quiero compartirles mi más reciente iniciativa en cuanto a tokens de segunda capa. En reportes anteriores les había comentado sobre mi interés en solo acumular tokens que puedan generarme hive ya sea por holdearlos o bloquearlos, y EDSI es un proyecto que apunta en esa dirección, solo por tener este token tendrás garantizado una entrada de de hives líquidos dependiendo de cuantos tengas en tu billetera. Dividí mi estrategia en 2 partes: la primera fue comprar casi 13$ en EDSI que también saqué de Splinterlands, lo que te da una idea de la poca fe que tengo en el destino de este proyecto. Y segundo, delegar una buena cantidad de HP a este proyecto para generar EDSI que a su vez me generará más hive líquidos.
La otra razón es que teniendo más de 2000 de HP delegados y más de 100 EDSI en la billetera tenías la posibilidad de conseguir un voto positivo, así que es un proyecto que ofrece cosas muy buenas: un token 1:1 con hive, que devuelve hive liquido por holdearlo y ser elegible para la posibilidad de un voto positivo. Lo considero un proyecto bastante completo, parecido al proyecto Panda aunque Panda es más reciente que EDSI pero es genial contar ya con 2 tokens de segunda capa que devuelven Hive.
Bien amigos hasta dejo mi primer reporte de #MyHiveGoals es un camino largo y espinoso el que nos espera pero soy optimista y estoy seguro de poder completar estas metas del 2026. Nos vemos en el próximo reporte, saludos y feliz inicio de semana!

Growing your HP stake by 50% isn't that modest a number at all... It needs dedication and consistency... As you want to grow your HBD stake, it will need an effort... But, I'm sure you can do it!
