My participation in the Night Photography Contest - Round 01: The Warm Nights of Caracas [Eng/Esp]
A big hello to the Feel Good community! I found out about this fantastic contest from my dear friend @sayury, who told me about this brand-new competition, the first of its kind! I'm so excited because it's always great to see new spaces for interaction being created within Hive, whether it's a new community or an initiative like this one called #nightphotography. From what I can see, it was spearheaded by @mshbd with great effort and determination, so I want to congratulate her on achieving this goal. This is why I didn't want to waste any time and wanted to contribute to this wonderful competition that is launching with its Round 01.
Last night I wanted to make this post, but I couldn't because my camera battery was dead and it was already quite late. So I waited until tonight to do it because waiting any longer would mean missing the deadline to participate in the first edition of this contest, and I'm really excited to support this initiative from the very beginning. I waited for dusk to fall so that the last rays of the sunset could be seen fading as the night sky descended like a blanket enveloping the entire city.

Since we're now in the middle of the dry season in Venezuela, the afternoons tend to be hot and remain so for much of the night. This is mainly due to the heavy cloud cover over the Caracas Valley, my sweltering city. So, the nights immediately after sunset are still hot, but it's made bearable by the breeze coming from Mount Ávila, which occasionally provides brief moments of cool air. But if there's one thing that characterizes Caracas nights, it's the lights of the various parishes in the city center. From my window, you can see not only the Altagracia and Catedral parishes, but also, almost touching the Ávila mountain, the La Pastora parish. Although it's a limited view of my city, since I can only see the west, it's enough to capture the charm of my city at night, which at this hour remains warm.

Un gran saludo comunidad de Feel Good! Me enteré de este genial concurso por mi estimada compañera @sayury que me había comentado sobre este concurso que se esta estrenando y que es el primero que se realiza! Esto me lleno de mucha emoción porque siempre es agradable ver cuando se crean nuevos espacios de interacción dentro de Hive, ya sea una nueva comunidad o una iniciativa como esta denominada #nightphotography que por lo que veo fue impulsada por @mshbd con gran esfuerzo y determinación por lo que quiero extenderle mis felicitaciones por concretar esta meta. Esta es la razón por la que no quise perder tiempo y dar mi aporte a este maravilloso concurso que se estrena con su Round 01.
Ayer en la noche quería hacer esta publicación pero no pude aprovechar el momento porque mi cámara estaba descargada y ya era bastante tarde. Así que esperé a la noche del día hoy para hacerlo porque esperar más tiempo implicaría que pasaría el tiempo de participar en la primera edición de este concurso y me hace mucha ilusión darle mi apoyo a esta iniciativa desde el primer momento. Esperé a que cayera el crepúsculo de manera que se pudiera ver la agonía de los últimos resplandores del ocaso mientras inmediatamente arriba se observa la niche cayendo completamente como un manto que arropa toda la ciudad.

Como ya estamos en plena temporada seca en Venezuela, las tardes suelen ser calurosas y se mantienen así durante buena parte de la noche y es principalmente por la gran nubosidad que tiene el Valle de Caracas, mi entrópica ciudad, así que las noches inmediatamente después de caer la tarde siguen siendo calurosas, pero se hace tolerable porque llega la brisa que viene del Cerro Ávila y por momentos nos da breves momentos de aire fresco. Pero si algo caracteriza las noches de Caracas son las luces de las distintas parroquias del centro de la Ciudad, desde mi ventana no solo se pueden observar las parroquias Altagracia, Catedral y casi pegado al Cerro Ávila la Parroquia de la Pastora. Aunque es apenas una vista limitada de mi ciudad ya que solo se observa el oeste, es suficiente para captar el encanto de mi ciudad nocturna que a esta hora se mantiene cálida.
Y bien amigos esta fue mi participación en el 1er concurso de #nightphotography! Espero que les haya gustado tanto como a mi el escribir estas líneas. Me alegra que este nuevo espacio de encuentro se haya abierto y le deseo todo lo mejor. Nos vemos la próxima semana. Saludos!

I think it is an excellent night photograph that manages to portray very well the illumination of city parishes
