First harvest in February in Lands! Upgrading in Frontier, and Opening of Gladius Cases [Eng/Esp]
Hey Splinterlands and Hivers friends! We've just finished our first week of February, two seasons in, and in our case, the fifth week of production on our plot. One of my goals for 2026 is to strictly accumulate resources on my main plots, and to buy more plots and upgrade workers/artifacts like titles and totems to increase production. I think we still have time to improve our position in Lands, even with a limited budget like mine. If you look at it, resource prices seem to be rising. This might be partly due to the reactivation of the Splinterlands Survival format. The truth is, we'll probably see a surge in demand for all resources, so if you have a plot, it's worth activating it and starting to accumulate resources.
Que tal amigos de Splinterlands y Hivers! Acabamos de terminar nuestra primera semana de febrero con 2 temporadas recorridas y en nuestro caso la 5 semana de producción en nuestra parcela. Entre uno de mis propósitos para este año 2026, la acumulación estricta de mis principales parcelas es la meta que me he planteado cumplir y en la medida de lo posible comprar más parcelas y mejorar trabajadores/artefactos como títulos y totems para incrementar la producción. Creo que todavía estamos a tiempo de mejorar nuestra posición en lands, aun cuando tengas un presupuesto limitado como es mi caso. Si se fijan el precio de los recursos parecen estar incrementándose, es posible que sea en parte a la reactivación del formato Survival de Splinterlands, lo cierto es que posiblemente veamos un alza en la demanda de todos los recursos, así que vale la pena si tienes una parcela, activarla y comenzar acumular recursos.

I currently own three plots of land and am focused on stone production. Of course, maintaining these plots and harvesting the stone requires some investment, but as I mentioned before, we're in the early stages of Lands and don't yet know its full potential or its impact on the main game. We're already seeing it in Survival mode, but in the coming years, Lands will play a more significant role in the main game. So, the more we develop this phase of the game, the better the future returns will be.
Tengo 3 parcelas en este momento y estoy enfocado en la producción del recurso de piedra, por supuesto el mantenimiento de estas parcelas y la recolección del recurso lleva cierto margen de inversión pero es como dije anteriormente, estamos en una etapa inicial de Lands y no sabemos el alcance que llegará a tener y el impacto sobre el juego principal, ya lo estamos viendo en Survival pero en los próximos años veremos una mayor participación de Lands en el juego principal, así que mientras más nos desarrollemos en esta fase del juego mejores dividendos obtendremos a futuro.

I want to start with grain production. I bought this plot in the middle of last year, and currently, all of its production is committed to supplying the grain my workers need on the stone-producing plots. So, I'm not really accumulating grain here. I've considered buying at least one more farm in the Great Lowlands, but it's an investment I'm hesitant to invest due to its price and scarcity.
Quiero comenzar con nuestra producción de grano, esta parcela la compre a mediados del año pasado y actualmente toda la producción de esta parcela esta comprometida a la producción del grano que necesitan mis trabajadores en las parcelas que producen piedra, así que realmente aquí no estoy acumulando grano, he considerado comprar al menos una granja extra en Great Lowlands pero es una inversión que estoy considerando por su precio y escasez.
Then we have the plots that are generating profits for us, the stone quarries. Here I have a rather unusual plot that's under construction because I bought it at the end of last year. I sold a terrible lumber plot that I revealed back when unrevealed plots fetched high prices to add a second quarry, so I'm currently upgrading the workers on this plot. The epic plot is the one I have in the best condition; the workers are golden epic CL with epic titles, and the only thing I'd like to upgrade is the totem, but that's an investment I'm considering for the long term.
Luego tenemos las parcelas que si nos están generando ganancias, las canteras de piedra, aquí tengo una primera parcela rara que esta en construcción porque la compre a finales del año pasado, vendí una horrible parcela de madera que revelé en aquellos tiempo en que una parcela sin revelar se vendían a precios alcistas para sumar una segunda cantera, por lo que estoy en proceso de mejorar los trabajadores de esta parcela. La parcela épica es la que tengo en mejor estado, los trabajadores son épicos dorados CL con un título épico y lo único que me gustaría mejorar es el totem pero es una inversión que me estoy planteando a largo plazo.
The total production from both quarries is 219,694 units of stone, a significant amount for these first 5 weeks of production. We'll see if we can add another quarry or upgrade the workers to increase production throughout the month.

Finally, I want to share the prices of the resource plots, the most economical ones of each rarity. I believe that natural plots offer the best cost/benefit ratio and are the best to start with in Lands.
Por último quiero quiero compartirles los precios de las parcelas de recursos, las más económicas de cada rareza. Considero que las parcelas naturales son las que tienen una mejor relación costo/beneficio y son las mejores para empezar en Lands.
There are some great deals on quarries, and the best part is that they're located in the Great Lowlands, including an epic one for $130. The one I bought in that same region cost me $80, but that was back when all plots, regardless of biome, only produced grain. Now that there's a purpose for each plot, prices have increased significantly, but it's still possible to find good deals today.
Hay muy buenas ofertas de canteras y lo mejor es que están en los territorios de Great Lowlands, incluyendo una épica a 130$. La que compre que es en ese mismo territorio me costó 80$ pero fue un período en las que todas las parcelas sin importar el bioma solo producían grano. Ahora que ya existe un propósito para cada parcela ha hecho que los precios aumenten notablemente, aún así es posible conseguir buenas ofertas al día de hoy.
Frontier Updates/Avances en Frontier
Let's talk about the Frontiers ranked format. These cards have helped me complement my deck in Modern. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I HATE the Rebellion card set. Its purpose of completely nullifying Chaos Legion was the worst mistake that could have been made, and it created an imbalance in the game that has been criticized by many. But the damage is done. The best we can hope for is that infamous card set is removed from Modern so the meta can reach a fairer balance. In this context, I'm only buying Conclave Arcana Core/Rewards cards and strengthening Foundations cards. New Foundations cards have been added in the form of bonuses or jackpots, and they aren't easy to obtain since the drop rate is only 2%. This past week I managed to get one, but from what I can see, it's the one that drops most frequently.
Hablemos ahora del formato Frontiers del ranked, estas cartas me han ayudado a complementar mi mazo en moderno, ya lo he dicho antes y lo reafirmo, ODIO la edición de cartas Rebellion, su propósito de anular por completo a Chaos Legion fue el peor error que se pudo cometer y generó un desbalance en el juego que ha sido criticado por muchos. Pero el daño esta hecho, lo mejor que podemos esperar es que esa infame edición de cartas salga de moderno para que el meta alcance un equilibrio más justo. En este contexto solo estoy comprando cartas Conclave Arcana Core/Rewards y fortaleciendo cartas Foundations, nuevas cartas Foundations se han sumado bajo la forma de extras o jackpots, no son fáciles de conseguir ya que la probabilidad de conseguirlas es del 2%. Esta semana que terminó pude conseguir una pero por lo que veo es la que cae más frecuentemente.
Most of my Archons and monsters are already at max level, so with the exception of the Fire Archon, which is inexplicably at level 3, the rest of my common and rare units are at levels 4 and 3 respectively. But I'm still opening packs to complete my collection and take advantage of any jackpots while claiming the rewards.
Ya la mayoría de mis arcontes y monstruos están al máximo nivel así que a excepción del arconte de fuego que inexplicablemente esta en nivel 3 el resto de mis unidades comunes y raras están en nivel 4 y 3 respectivamente. This week we managed to upgrade 2 rare cards, which are not easy to obtain if you want to get them directly by playing instead of buying them on the market: Water Logged-Wizard and Vengeful Monk lvl 4 each, they are their maximum level and although the difference is in hit points, when it comes to the gold league where you are already facing players who also have the cards at the maximum, the difference between victory and defeat can be decided by 1 miss or 1 extra hit point.
Esta semana logramos upgradear 2 cartas raras, que no son nada fáciles de conseguir si quieres proponerte sacarlas directamente jugando en lugar de comprarlas en el mercado: Water Logged-Wizard y Vengeful Monk lvl 4 cada una, son su máximo nivel y aunque la diferencia es en puntos de vida, cuando se trata de la liga de oro en la que ya te estas enfrentando con jugadores que también tienen las cartas al máximo, la diferencia entre victoria y derrota puede ser decidida por 1 miss o 1 punto extra de vida.
Opening Gladius Cases/Abriendo Gladius Cases
I wanted to close this month's report with an opening of Gladius cases. It was yesterday that we finished the most recent Brawls cycle, and that's when I realized I'd already accumulated over 460,000 merits! That means I have enough to make a massive purchase of Gladius cases with their respective blood stones to increase my chances of getting legendary gladiators. So I need to hurry up with installing and using OBS to make my first videos opening these packs. For now I decided to open 4 packs, let's see the result we got.
Quería cerrar este reporte de inicio de mes con una apertura de Gladius cases, fue ayer que terminamos el más reciente ciclo de Brawls y alli me di cuenta que tenía ya acumulados más de 460K de méritos! Es decir, ya me alcanza para hacer una compra masiva de Gladius cases con sus respectivas piedras de sangre para aumentar las chances de gladiadores legendarios. Así que debo darme prisa con la instalación y manejo de OBS para hacer mis primeros videos abriendo estos packs. Por ahora decidí abrir 4 packs, veamos el resultado que obtuvimos.
It's always a joy to see these epic cards pop up when you open a pack, and in this case, three of them came out: Edith Emberstar, Quora Towershead, and Trapp Falloway. We also got a lot of common cards, which is great, and sadly, a few rares, but at least they were from my favorite splinter groups: Earth and Life.
Siempre es una alegría ver saltar estas cartas épicas cuando abres un pack y en este caso salieron 3 de ellas: Edith Emberstar, Quora Towershead y Trapp Falloway. También sumamos muchas cartas comunes que esta muy bien y tristemente unas pocas raras pero al menos eran de mis splinters favoritos: tierra y vida.
Let's start with the first two epics. We only have five copies of Edith Emberstar away from the maximum we can have in the Gold League, and I'm interested in getting her to the maximum level because she adds +1 maximum health to the entire team. Then we have Quora. Here, we're a little further from the level 5 goal, but getting her to that level is definitely a huge advantage, since she learns the Dispel ability, which removes any buffs targeting her. Whenever I face a level 5 Quora, it's a battle that's going to be very difficult for me to win.
Comencemos por las 2 primeras épicas, Edith Emberstar la tenemos a sólo 5 copias del máximo que la podemos tener en la liga de oro y me interesa tenerla al máximo nivel pues suma +1 de vida máxima a todo el equipo. Luego tenemos a Quora, aquí si estamos un poco más lejos de la meta del nivel 5, pero sin duda que llevarla a ese nivel es una gran ventaja, pues aprende la habilidad dispel que elimina cualquier potenciador que tenga su objetivo. Siempre que enfrento a una Quora en nivel 5 es una batalla que me va a costar mucho ganar.

Finally, we have Trapp Falloway. I never thought this would be my first epic card to max out; in fact, it took me quite a while to get my first one. Most of the epics I got at the beginning were Gorth and Marisol Contuma. Now, at this level, it deals insane damage for a 4-mana card, making it ideal for battles with Little League. I've already won Brawl battles using this card; I'll have to test its effectiveness in the Wild format.
Por último tenemos a Trapp Falloway, nunca pensé que esta sería mi primera carta épica en llevar al máximo, de hecho tarde bastante en conseguir la primera, la mayoría de las épicas que conseguí al principio eran Gorth y Marisol Contuma. Ahora en este nivel alcanzamos un daño bestial para ser una carta con 4 de mana, lo que la hace una pieza ideal para batallas con little league. Ya he ganado batallas brawls usando esta carta, tendría que probar su efectividad en el formato wild.
