I'd love to visit Vegas at some point for a convention. They always seem so cool and flashy. My buddy goes to the home builders show every year, but I think in 2026 they are moving it to Florida.

Sadly it’s not what it was. It’s a ghost town post 2020. The lockdowns killed Vegas. 80% the casinos are in red every year since 2020. Florida will continue gaining these functions as Vegas dies a slow death.

Last time I was there it smelled like weed everywhere you went and there were kids and families all over the place.

It's a great place for conventions. They are running into a lot of financial issues and drops in tourism from excessive fees this past year. I think Vegas deals may become much less expensive in the coming years as they try to win back the convention and tourists.

Florida has made doing business so much less expensive that many conventions are moving that direction. Orlando is becoming a huge convention winner and even Miami. The big plus of Florida is you can bring along your metal detector and search for silver and gold along the beaches in you spare time! lol

We get kind of the raw end of the deal right now. Most of the public education conferences we go to the SWAG is pretty lame because they have to keep everything under a specific price because they have to meet competitive bidding requirements. I'd love to go to a show where they don't have those restrictions. I'd honestly rather go to Vegas than Florida anytime!
