These properties along the bourbon trail in Kentucky are absolutely amazing! Actually, pretty much all of Kentucky is as you mentioned just beautiful like that. When we did the tour we were able to see the assembly line where the people sit and hand dip the bottles. If you buy a bottle at their store you can hand dip one yourself too. There's actually quite the science to it. They try to get the perfect dip with a certain number of fingers running down the side and people actually hunt for "over dipped" bottles to add to their collation. I highly recommend the MM distillery tour to anyone who is in the area.

they let you dip your own? That's pretty cool. I wonder how many people have hand dipped their hand as well. Because we all know that a lot of people are very clumsy and/or stupid.

They have a person there watching and letting you know how well you did. I kind of wish I had done it now. I still have the bottle I bought down there. It's about half full now. It was pre-dipped when I bought it. I think I came home with seven or eight different bottles of whiskey from that trip!

that's a lot of booze bro. But from what I know about you, you are an extremely sensible drinker so this is not alcoholism... you are a collector

Yeah, I just finished the first one the other day. Most of those seven bottles are still half full at least. I just like having variety.
