All Done!

Despite my best efforts, I haven't been able to get any images to upload via the @inleo front end this week, so I had to fall back to @peakd to write this post. I don't really mind, I like the PeakD interface, but it's just unfortunate that things have to occasionally not work. I guess it's just one of those growing pains things with a blockchain like this.
My niece had her last softball game of her high school career last night. It was just another in a long line of heart breaking losses that could have been avoided with better coaching. Don't get me wrong, she told me the other day that the team they were playing in this first round of the playoffs was going to be good. It's just that her team could be good if they had a little better leadership. Sadly, the coaches on her team spent more time fighting and being bitter towards each other that they couldn't successfully lead them to a winning season.
I'm honestly a bit glad this chapter of my nieces life is over now. I have a feeling she is too. It has to be hard to put 110% into something only for you nitwit coach to make a stupid decision that ends up costing you the game. It happened way too frequently over the past four years. I get accidents happen, but this guy was just a moron.
As I mentioned yesterday, this weekend was full of softball at the university level. The Division II softball tournament continued to roll along and the Division I tournament started up in full force with a flurry of games over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I wouldn't be surprised if the players spend the first half of this week just getting some sleep from how busy their weekend was. Then again, these are young ladies who are used to playing travel ball tournaments sometimes with eight or more games being played in a weekend, so this is likely nothing for them!
With the double elimination regionals out of the way we now get ready for the Super Regionals that start up on Thursday this week.
In the first game, we have Oregon versus Liberty in a best of three showdown. Oregon eliminated Binghamton, Weber State, and Stanford to make it this far, while Liberty eliminated 1 seed Texas A&M, Saint Francis, and Marist.
The Florida Gators beat Georgia Tech, Fla Atlantic, and Mercer to earn their spot against Georgia who took down Duke, Howard, and Coastal Carolina.
South Carolina punched their card to the super regionals by beating Elon, Virginia, and North Florida. They will be facing a UCLA team that fought their way to this match up through Arizona State, San Diego State, and UCSB.
Texas rolled through their quad beating Michigan, Eastern Illinois, and UCF to face Clemson who beat USC Upstate, Kentucky, and Northwestern.
Florida State will be facing Texas Tech in the super regionals. FSU beat Robert Morris, South Florida, and Auburn while Texas Tech beat Brown, Washington, and Mississippi State.
In the Knoxville region, Tennessee had the home advantage beating North Carolina, Miami of Ohio, and Ohio State. They now face a Nebraska team who took down LSU, UConn, and SE Louisiana to make it here.
Finally, we have the last two regions. Arkansas beat Saint Louis, Indiana, and Oklahoma State to face an Ole Miss team that beat Arizona, Santa Clara, and Grand Canyon to punch their ticket.
Oklahoma is facing Alabama in what should be a good super regional showdown. Oklahoma beat Boston U, Omaha, and Cal to face Alabama who beat Jackson State, Belmont, and Virginia Tech.
In case you are keeping track, that's only two Big Ten teams that made it to the super regionals. Kind of sad. It's also surprising that Oklahoma State got knocked out and that Texas A&M elimination I talked about earlier is a shocker!
I'm looking forward to seeing how this next round plays out!
