🐝 Saturday Savers Week 45 — The Final Stretch (and Some Dips Along the Way)

Another week, another #SaturdaySavers post! This week was one of those “buy the dip” kind of weeks, pretty much everything in the crypto world went down, except for the last couple of days when prices started to bounce a little again.

So what did I do? Exactly, bought some more Hive on the dip 😎

And as a result… my Hive Power goal is basically reached! Technically, I could already mark it complete, since I still have some liquid Hive lying around, but I’m stretching it just one more week. There’s something satisfying about officially crossing that 15,000HP mark in the tracker.

So with that, I can safely say: 2025 was one hell of a good year for my Saturday Savings journey.

🎯 Hitting the Goals (and Thinking About the Next Ones)

At this point, 5 out of 6 goals are completed, and the final one is 99.9% done. EDSI, BXT, BBHO, and LEO are all steady and growing, and my HBD has been holding above goal for weeks now.

So… it’s time to dream a little again. I’m already thinking about my 2026 goals, and the big question is: 👉 25,000HP or 30,000HP? 👉 1,500HBD, 2,000HBD, or even 2,500HBD? 👉 And what about DUO? I currently have around 1,079 DUO, but I really want to start climbing that richlist.

🧠 Life, Work & Balance

Outside of Hive, it’s been another busy and heavy week. Family health issues continue to take a lot of time and energy, and the economic situation lately hasn’t exactly been helping either. It’s a weird mix of staying focused and just keeping your head above water.

That said, I try not to let my health slide, still doing my walks (maybe a bit shorter and sometimes longer, and slower, and sometimes just faster), because if I want to keep all this going, I need to stay fit. Physically and mentally. We have a little over a week to go before our youngest son will undergo his back surgery. Then things will start becoming REALLY heavy...

🧰 Tech Corner & Witness Update

A relatively quiet week development-wise.

• Had a small issue with the Hive Witness machine, but that’s fixed now.

• The delegation payout scripts are throwing some curveballs, likely due to recent Hive Engine instability, but they’re next in line for a fix, and it’s top priority.

🌱 Final Thoughts

This week reminded me that steady growth is the most powerful kind. Even when life throws curveballs, and time is short, progress still happens, sometimes silently, in the background, while you’re just doing your best to keep it all running.

So here’s to the next step, the next year, and maybe a new set of goals that will make 2026 another strong one.
