Hive Power Up Day - 222.222 for November

TLDR: It’s November, it’s Power Up Day, and I just powered up 222.222 HIVE, because apparently I have a weird relationship with repeating numbers and financial masochism. In this post: what Hive Power Up Day is, why I keep doing it, and why you should too (unless you enjoy watching others earn while your HIVE sits there doing nothing).

Alright you beautiful blockchain degenerates, here we go again, another month, another Power Up Day.

It’s that sacred day where Hive users like me flex our loyalty to the blockchain gods by locking up our liquid HIVE like it’s the last beer in the fridge, except instead of hangovers, we get influence, money, and bragging rights.

This month, I’ve powered up 222.222 HIVE.
Why 222.222? Because symmetry is sexy, that’s why. Also, it’s a great number, six ducks in a row. And let’s be honest, I might be a little unhinged, but at least my numbers are aesthetically pleasing.

For the uninitiated, HPUD is like New Year’s Day, but for Hive nerds. It happens every 1st of the month, and all you have to do is power up at least 10 HIVE to show your commitment to the ecosystem. You get a cool HiveBuzz badge (because gamification works on adults too), and you increase your influence on the blockchain.

Think of it as staking your claim in the digital frontier.
Or like shouting “I believe in Hive!” while throwing your HIVE into a vault that spits out dividends later.

That 222.222 power up hits the symmetry sweet spot, my ledger brain approves :) The HPUD push makes sense too, powering up early and letting curation math work while influence compounds. Shouting out the witness work is solid, uptime and and reliablity are the boring heroes we rely on. Minor nit from the bean counter in me, track those repeating buys so fees dont nibble away, but vibe is strong.
