RE: THORChain Exploited for $10M

The cross-chain part is what makes this kind of exploit so hard to contain.
A single-chain incident can often be isolated around one contract, one liquidity pool, or one validator set. Once Bitcoin, Ethereum, BSC, and Base are all involved, the response becomes coordination across different settlement environments with different assumptions.
That is the tradeoff with chain-agnostic liquidity. It gives users better reach, but the blast radius gets harder to reason about. THORChain has always lived close to that edge because its value proposition depends on moving across boundaries that were not designed to share risk.
