Staking through a bear market is the part most people get wrong. The instinct is to cut positions when USD value drops, but if the thesis hasn't broken — same project, same team, same utility — then lower prices mean higher yield on cost for new stakes.
The key metric to track isn't portfolio USD value. It's token balance growth rate. If your stack is growing 30%+ annually through staking rewards, the USD value is a lagging indicator that will correct itself when the cycle turns.
What's your split between Hive-native staking vs external protocol staking?

I put all the Hive liquid I get to buy SPS at this point in the bear market. I am long term holder of Splinterlands asset. When Hive price rises I will keep HBD instead.
