We got something special for this one, some Egyptian .... themed silver 🤣
It is a nice half oz round from Monarch metals I got it awhile back on the silvergoldbull website, a bit of a premium but a really nice piece anyway that ain't enough now I tell you about silver in Egypt I am sure everyone will be sure to read all this extra shit lol

just gonna drop some extra flavor on silver in ancient Egypt so this post isn’t running short. honestly, most folks hear “ancient egypt” and it’s all gold masks, pharaoh bling, king tut chilling with a mountain of shiny stuff. but for real, silver had its own lane, even if it didn’t grab the headlines.

here’s the weird part—silver wasn’t easy to grab for Egypt. no local mines pumping out bars, no easy digs, they had to pull it in from way off, trading and hustling with neighboring spots or way down Africa somewhere. so sometimes silver got tagged higher than gold, like you’re rolling deep if you’ve got silver rings stashed up. they worked with weights and bars, not coins, so when you hear about money back then, it’s mostly metal by the chunk. silver rings pop up all over, real artifacts from back in the day. even their word for “silver” was also their word for “money" tells you what mattered.

anyway, priests flexed with silver in ceremonies, pharaohs tossed it around to keep people loyal, and let’s not forget all the tombs. you peek in these graves, right next to the gold hype, you’ll catch silver scarabs, rings, whatever. afterlife insurance, eh? hedging with hard assets even after you’re dust.

so with all that, putting a half oz Egyptian themed silver round in your palm kinda connects that old world energy. not saying I’m stacking up like some lost pharaoh, but hey, silver’s got roots deeper than most folks bother thinking about. it was money, status, and a bit of a ritual flex all rolled up. filler content, sure, but if you gotta pad the post, might as well drop something real.
