If it is possible to always take note and check the side effects of everything we eat, I bet that so many of us will have less fods to eat. Well, everything has its advantages and disadvantages and I think most disadvantages come from having too much intake of those particular foods.

Caffeine is a kind of stimulant which usually occurs in plants like coffe and tea leaves. This kind of substance usually have its positive and negative effect on us but let’s know the positive effects of caffeine.
For those who do not know where or what kind of food to find caffeine, here they are; chocolate milks, coffee, tea, energy drinks, soda drinks and so much more.

Positive effects of caffeine

Caffeine gives energy. I think this is why caffeines are being found in energy drinks. For some people who do strenuous jobs, energy drinks like Monster or Rockstar is usually their go-to drink because of the energy it gives them. Here, the caffeine inside the drink is what gives them the energy.

Caffeine also helps to enhance our moods. I’ve seen numerous numbers of people who weren’t in a good mood or depressed but after taking a drink that contains caffeine, they begin to feel good and better.

Lastly, caffeine can improve our mental performance. I think this is one thing that caffeines are popularly known for. No matter what your mental state may be, you mood will brighten up and that happens mainly because of the stimulant properties that caffeine contains.

Negative effects of caffeine

Caffeine is most likely to increase our blood pressure. We all know how important it is for our blood pressure to be at its normal rate. Take note of yourself. How is your heart rate after taking any drink that contains caffeine? It moves and runs so fast which isn’t good for us. It becomes bad when you even take too much caffeine and feel this symptom.

Anxiety is also one of the things that happens to people after taking caffeine or drinks that contains caffeine. I know anxiety and increased heart rate work hand in hand but they are two different things. This is why it isn’t advisable for a hypertension patient to take caffeine especially when it becomes too much.

And when we take caffeine drinks or products, we are likely to urine more than its usual time which will eventually lead to dehydration. This can only be balanced if one takes enough liquid intake but without that, such person will feel dehydrated.

Lastly, we all have different body systems and our bodies react differently to caffeine. So, it is advisable to take note of your bodily reaction to caffeine. If taking caffeine is giving you any of these negative symptoms, you should know that it isn’t good for your body system even though you can actually take it once in a while because the body sometimes need caffeine.

As good as caffeine can be, it can also be bad so it is essential to take caffeines moderately because too much of everything isn’t good. Sometimes, the best thing for us may eventually be the worse when the intake is too much into our body.

Here is my reference especially for those who would want to read and know more about caffeines.
