The Bank’s New Staff.

Mr Elliot, a billionaire and one of the biggest clients of Providus bank walks into the bank on his white suit, golden shoe and his black briefcase. As one of their biggest clients, he was immediately given a seat so he can be attended to while being seated.
On sitting, he lands at the front of the newly and latest staff employed in the bank, Miss Ebere. It has always been one of her biggest dreams to work with a big client and here is an opportunity to do so and if she does well, her salary may be increased or have a better banking history.

“Good day sir. It’s nice to have you here today and how may I help you?” Miss Ebere, a woman who got employed because of her boldness and daring skills said confidently to Mr Elliot.

“It’s my pleasure to be here as well. I will be needing some cash of about fifty million Naira,” Mr Elliot responded back to her and right after saying that, Miss Ebere’s boldness disappeared.
It’s always been a dream to count a huge sum of money, work with rich clients and maybe manage their accounts but this is the first time that will be happening but it is looking impossible already especially with the fear that took over her after hearing such amount of money she was about of count.

“I’ve never counted such amount before. How am I going to do this?,” worried Miss Ebere thinks in her mind. The highest amount in cash that she has ever counted was three million Naira but it’s scary how she went from three to fifty million Naira.
Even though the money counter machine is what will be used to count the money, the fear of making mistakes took over Miss Ebere totally and she started to feel uneasy around the billionaire.

Her relaxed body started sweating under the air conditioner, she was having tension headaches and was trembling so bad. She stood up and ordered some other workers in the banks to start bringing in the notes and she can monitor the counting process as well.

“Hello, are you a new staff here,” Mr Elliot asked because he was so quick to understand that something was going wrong with Miss Ebere. At that moment, it felt like she had lost her voice. The only way she was able to help herself by responding was nodding her head and the billionaire was quick to grab what the response meant. The fear didn’t only take over her but held her voice for a second.

“I notice that you’re trembling and I can tell that you haven’t counted such money before especially for the fact that you are a new worker but don’t worry, let’s get it done together,” the bank manager, Mr Elias overheard the conversation between Mr Elliot and Miss Ebere and was so vexed. He’s a kind of manager who wants his workers to always put in their best and hide their weaknesses but that’s not the best.

He called Miss Ebere all sorts of names like incompetent and others but Mr Elliot was good enough to defend her and also made sure that the bank manager doesn’t get her fired.
“There’s always a beginning and we all start from somewhere,” Mr Elliot said to the bank manager.

“Since it is fifty million Naira we are counting, it means we will have to make bundles of one million Naira in fifty places. So, that’s how we will start,” maybe Mr Elliot was once a banker and someone who’s so good at explaining things.

Fifty million Naira is a lot of money and to make things run faster, Miss Ebere requested for two more money counters to make the counting process fast. Mr Elliot, who acted as Miss Ebere’s guardian angel also requested for a break, bought her food so she will have the strength to keep working and they were able to do it.

At the end of the day, Miss Ebere was able to count a sum of fifty million Naira with the help of Mr Elliot and just within three weeks of her employment at Providus bank.
Mr Elliot liked her courage and boldness to give mew adventures a trial then he asked her to be his account manager. An account that has over five hundred million Naira. That’s a huge deal for Miss Ebere.

At last, she even experienced counting more money which is above fifty million Naira and managing a billionaire’s account boosted her reputation at work.
