Speaking In Tongues ~ MCGI Topic Review

God gives us gifts. When God is giving gifts to we humans, He gave some people the gift of hearing, seeing and some have the ability to speak in tongues. So, anyone who speaks in tongue is a big proof that God gifts some people the ability to do that.

Speaking in tongues isn’t new. Speaking in tongues has been since the life of the apostles and the days of Jesus Christ.

On a fateful day when the apostles went to another city entirely for their missionary work or trip, they didn’t understand the language. Then, God allowed the Holy Spirit to descend on them and that’s how they started speaking in tongues.

Well, I really cannot say that this story is the history or main story behind speaking in tongues but since it happened to the apostles, it can happen to we followers of Jesus Christ.

The Acts 2:7-8 says; And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

This shows that speaking in tongues is when you are speaking in a language that is different from the language you were trained with or your mother tongue. Speaking in tongues is a good act but not every Christian has the ability to do this.

For those who have, they should keep this gift and use it for only good purpose.
Speaking in tongues can be used to pass a message across to other Christians and most people who give message across to others speak in tongues.
