Our Sinking Love Story.

After nine failed relationships, Joseph finally gets engaged with his colleague at work, Jewel.

“She’s going nowhere. I’m sure this lady is never going to leave me like my exes,” Joseph yells at his friends, Titus and Brown.

These guys are simply telling Joseph to improve his scent game and personal hygiene. Joseph rarely takes his bath and if he does, he only takes his bath in the evening. How did Jewel even fall for him?
Jewel, one of the most beautiful babes at work and someone who takes her personal hygiene seriously gets into a relationship with Joseph.

How did it happen? That’s the question flying around in the company and even Mr Edgar, the company’s owner asked Jewel the same question.

“Jewel, are you sure that Joseph is the right one for you despite…,” Jewel didn’t want him to land. She knew he was about to talk about her man’s body odor so she covers up for her lover.

“She loves me the way I am and the fact that she complains about my hygiene doesn’t mean she will break up with me. Have you all forgotten that she said yes to my proposal?,” Joseph asks.

“Guy shut up! What are you saying? She said yes to your proposal does not mean she won’t leave you. If she keeps complaining about your hygiene, she will get tired someday and walk away,” Titus warns.

These two guys want Joseph to make more effort about his personal hygiene. His past relationships sinked and they do not this relationship to sink as well so they keep singing personal hygiene to his ears whenever they link up but Joseph was never going to listen.

Amidst the whole talks and questions going in the company about why Jewel chose Joseph out of every man in the company, they both go out on a date. Jewel wasn’t free. She doesn’t want to move so close to him, hug nor kiss him.

“Babe, what’s the problem. You ain’t holding me tight like you should do. Have I done something wrong or are you thinking about the things people say at the office?,” Joseph asks.

“I can’t cope with you, Joseph. You stink a lot snd I’m sure a lot of people tell you about it. I was expecting you to smell nice because we’re going on a date but you still chose to live like every other day,” Jewel almost cried while complaining to her man about how he stinks.
What’s the point of waiting to hear from Joseph when she knows that the ooze coming out from his mouth won’t make her breathe for sometime.
Instead, she walks out on him and let him enjoy his date alone.

“Guys, will you believe that this lady just walked out on me? She said I stink. Do I smell that bad?,” Joseph was so sad, angry and sweaty. He calls Titus and Brown about what had just happened.
Hahaha Titus burst into laughter.

“I knew a day like this was going to come and if you don’t begin to smell nice, the worst may happen. She’s going to break up with you,” Brown rarely talks but when he does, Joseph always want to listen because he isn’t unserious like Titus.
Joseph’s relationship is sinking already and this is how the nine previous relationships started to sink.

This time, Joseph believes that Jewel may leave him if he doesn’t begin to smell nice. He pays for what they both ate at the restaurant and on his way home, he stops by Ikeja City Mall, one of the biggest malls in Lagos to get some perfumes, body mist, roll on and antiperspirant.

On getting to the scent shop in the mall, everyone who comes close to him blocks their nose. Joseph knows that something is wrong. He confidently walks in the store, gets the perfumes and steps out.
On the next day, he got to work in a white ironed shirt, suit and a pant trouser.
Who thinks Joseph will ever dress this way? He scents so nice and Melina, the finest babe has to give him a hug. A lot of people were surprised to see Joseph is a cool haircut, a sparkling white shirt and some nice perfume scent.

Jewel, who almost broke up with him on Sunday comes around, apologizes to her man and their almost sinked relationship resumed again. After work, the two of them went to the same restaurant, same seat while they both talk and right there, Joseph proposed to his girl, Jewel again and their sinking love story was revived.
