Marrying After The Death Of A Spouse Prt2/2 ~ MCGI Topic Review.

Marriage is a lifetime deal between a man and a woman. Sadly, some people’s lifespan is so short which results into them losing their lives and their partner will be left alone in this world. Then, this confuses a lot of people. Some say they want to keep being faithful to their late husband or wife by not getting married to someone else again.

Thinking about that, how will such person have kids ir more kids. Even in the beginning of the world, God created Eve when he realized that Adam was lonely. This means that a man needs a woman and a woman needs a man so if your spouse dies, you can get married to another.

1 Corinthians 7:39 says; A wife is bound to her husband as long as she lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord.

I think the only word which is missing here is vice versa. This isn’t only talking to a woman but a man also. God has created two genders so we can serve as each other’s companions. So if one loses a spouse, get married to another as long as you have healed from tge pain that you felt after losing your first partner.

God does not forbid getting married after the death of your spouse.

Romans 7:2-3; A married woman is bound by law to her husband as long as she lives. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law, and if she marries another man, she is not an adulteress.

So, for those who are calling any woman who marries after her husband’s death an adultress, you all are wrong because this is accepted by the Lord so that such woman won’t begin to frolic with other men.

I agree with you. This is a regressive thought. Appreciate you picking up to write on this...
