Is Polygamy Allowed By God? ~ MCGI Topic Review.

I think in this generation, there is a lot of misconception and misinterpretation of the Bible. These days, people tell you that it is very rare to see a man who doesn’t cheat or extra marital affairs.
As a matter of fact, some people tell you that God supports extramarital affairs.

That’s a big lie and it shows two things. The first thing is that they either do not read their Bible. You know there are so many people who do not read the Bible but they say what they like all because they feel like they are saying or doing the right thing.

The second mistake is that some people do not even understand the Bible. They just say what they like even after reading the Bible. They turn what the Bible says upside down and normally, God never asked us to misquote or give another meaning to what has been said or written in the Bible.

Let’s take King David or King Solomon as examples. God punished King David and Solomon for this particular reason. These two Kings practiced polygamy and that’s why God punished them.

Deuteronomy 30:19 says; I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Even if God has said we are free, we should not forget that everything we do has a repercussion. Just look at how King David and Solomon ended their lives. They ended it bad all because they practiced polygamy which God has stated clear to us that isn’t good and we are not allowed to be a part of it.

To all men who feel polygamy is right, it is totally wrong and God doesn’t support it. God wants us to change our ways and He will always welcome us.
