Finding Your Peace.

I don’t know hoe important peace is to you but to me, it is very important. I don’t joke with my peace and mental health.
Just last night, I was having a chat with my neighbor and she finally revealed why she broke up with her ex boyfriend and decided to go for this new man.

She said, “my ex boyfriend rented this apartment for me but he has refused to provide me food knowing fully well that I don’t have a job. That’s why I broke up with him and started dating my new man” she said.

I feel this thing is actually easily. By the time she searches for a job for a full month, she will definitely get a job but she doesn’t want to do that.
Then, the reason why I knew that she doesn’t value her peace is saying that she prefers her new boyfriend to the ex who rented an apartment for her.
Talking about this new boyfriend, he beats her at the slightest mistake. He yells at her and acts like he’s the perfect one but she said she finds peace with him all because he’s providing her with what she will eat.

I don’t know what might have prompted Taylor Swift to sing “Peace” but it’s looking like what this lady is facing in her relationship.
Then, why can’t she walk away? Is it that difficult for people to walk away?
Why not walk away to locate your peace and the best place where you can find your peace is you. I just know that everyone has this inner peace in them so it is left for you to locate what part of your body where it is and you dish it out not only to yourself but to other people around you.

I think Sia has said it all. She said “be my friend, hold me”. If you can’t be with someone whom you can call your friend, then you can’t find peace there. Also, this does not only have to do with relationships or just romanticism.
It can be friends, at work or any other place where you find yourself. Also, even if someone is giving you troubles or problems, you have to be at peace with yourself so that the inner peace in which you imbibe in yourself will make you glow in peace and in happiness. That’s how it is supposed to work.

At last, I decided to end my post with a song that brings me peace too. Hearing the soothing voice of Bob Marley brings me so much peace that I can’t even contain.
If this song brings you peace, sing along to it but if it doesn’t, I know that there are so many fishes in the ocean so just find a particular song that brings you peace and rock it well.
