I recently watched the movie Outlaw Johnny Black on the Tubi. I watched it with a friend while out on a trip and thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The movie is made by the same people who made the movie Black Dynamite, so if you're a fan of their comedic style and Westerns, I'm 100% positive you'll love this movie.

As I mentioned I watched the movie on Tubi, for free, but while looking for the trailer, I also found the full movie on YouTube, also for free!

The movie Outlaw Johnny Black is a comedy but also as Western as a Western can get. It's filled with all the typical Western themes of murder, revenge, romance, blackmail, and other topics you'd expect from the genre while delivering the story in a funny way.

If you're familiar with the movie Black Dynamite you'll recognize some of the same characters and comedic style used in Outlaw Johnny Black. A lot of the jokes are funny but silly in a way and the characters with their personality flaws tend to put themselves in some hilarious situations.

Although the movie is a comedy with a Western theme, the action throughout the movie was really good. It had all the gun-slinging and shooting that you'd expect to see in a Western along with really good hand-to-hand combat scenes led by Michael Jai White, who's a trained martial artist.

But through it all, none of the comedy or action got in the way of them telling a good, entertaining story. Most Westerns are overall good stories and they did a great job sticking to the theme and telling a good story in Outlaw Johnny Black as well. I've seen Black Dynamite and thought they made a MUCH better movie in Outlaw Johnny Black than they did with Black Dynamite.

I enjoyed the movie from the opening scene to the ending credits, so much so that I've watched it twice over the past week. If I had to give Outlaw Johnny Black a rating I'd rate the movie:
