You made me google it aaand I found some interpretations of I am going to Kansas City song by some Yugoslovanian people back then with Serbian lyrics. Here, both versions are cute, makes you wanna dance immediately. 😍

It's a good song, but I just didn't feel I could include it given the duality of the cities. It's interesting that it has garnered such global attention. I never would have thought there might be Serbian version out there somewhere!
Ohh, thanks for that info too, I had no idea there were two cities like that, how interesting. Yes, American music culture used to be very popular here across the whole Balkans. Rock and roll, jazz, blues, alternative, metal, everything. Our musicians were covering those songs, starting all the way back in the 60s. 😄
That's very cool! That older music is still some of the best stuff out there!
