WILDLIFE SHOULD BE LEFT TO STRIVE IN THEIR NATURAL ECOSYSTEM

Taking wildlife pet or exotic pets I am scared of wild animals a lot and from documentaries that i have watched so many people take up lions, tigers, cheetahs or big snakes as their pets. Some people even go as far as having a crocodile as a pet or a different kind of fish that are not supposed to be near humans and they keep this disregarding the risk and they take care of them.
This is my entry for hive learners edition 3. In as much as I feel like the zoo is not doing a very good job and most of these animals are going into extinction because either they are being haunted down or they are used for illegal purposes. As a Nigerian I would never ever consider having a wild animal in my house apart from a dog and a cat which are domestic animals when we classify animal generally those are the only two animals I can ever have in my house.
Wild animals are not domestic animals and you cannot train them like dogs and cats which are more homely, even the most experienced individual in taking care of animals cannot handle the risk of keeping wild animals and predators close by they have this natural behavior of being territorial and defensive and they could at any point turn against their owner not knowing that this person is there a caregiver.
Wild animals are really beautiful and I admire them a lot and most times it is tempting to have one of them around because they are just too beautiful but we should never let it be a lifestyle or a life choice or even trying to take up the work of the government in taking care of wild animals just because we want to give out to humanity.
Conservation center was made so that these animals would be there and would be taken care of and people could go to see them for sightseeing.If we must help them let us find a way to enlighten the authorities to do a better job at taking care of the wild animals around us. The best way to honor wild animals is to ensure that they are cared for and are safe and most importantly free to live naturally as much as possible and we humans are just supposed to admire for a distance and not keep them too close us.
Note wild animals are supposed to be out there in the jungle where they can live naturally hunt and have interactions with their own kind keeping them in captivity have a way of affecting them they struggle with mental development and also encounter behavioral problems which would affect their overall health negatively. No matter how a human cares for wild animals the complexity of the ecosystem is where they are supposed to evolve and live in and only trained professionals in this field can manage them as long as they get proper care, protection and conservation.
