SPENDING ON A BUDGET DURING THE SEASON OF CELEBRATION

It’s been an eventful year so far and finally the year is coming to an end and the festive seasons are at hand. when it comes to celebration the part that is usually don’t think about is the part of budgeting that is involved in all the festivities involved. In the process of our happiness of our family and people around us we try our best to always to turn up for our loved ones and celebrate within our budget just to put a smile on the face of our family and loved ones.
It is always easy to go through the year without planning for the year at hand, we start over thinking our budget and all.

Its very normal not to make adequate plan to for our festive celebration and then budgeting comes to play and most times it always comes late. In all our doings let’s not go above our expected budget so we don’t end up crying later in regrets, some people just love living above their budget just because they want to stand out and fit into community standards this is because everyone wants to be shown off and outshine each other, that has always been the pattern every festive season.

This is my entry for #hivelearners weekly contest edition 2 and the topic for this week is (CELEBATING ON A BUDGET) Having a good celebration doesn’t have to leave us in debit and hiding our faces in shame after the festive seasons are over. From the moments you know you are planning for an event; you must start making savings little by little to be able to meet up with the budget for your preparations towards the festival seasons celebrations. It’s hard to accomplish this because surviving each day in my country is not easy, to think of saving for an event.

Well, the festive seasons like Christmas celebrations and new year celebrations. These are events that are already mapped out every year and it should be disappointing for us not well prepared for it. Although we plan another thing and life plans something totally different for us with so many unexpected circumstances like health issues and so many others that can swallow up our savings leaving us stranded with all our savings been spent on things that we didn’t plan for. The truth remains that in all our planning we need to plan for emergency of all kinds but not all families earn at the same level, and it also depends on the amount of money that is saved.

If we encounter this kind of challenges the best thing to do is to embrace the joy, happiness that comes with reuniting family and celebrating within our budget, just having a little celebrating and making up for the lost times. Then when we start getting overly stressed about everything and feel like we won’t feel among because didn’t pull an extravagant celebration. In everything what matters is that we are happy and it’s a season to spread love.
