LIVING LIFE BEHIND THE SCENES
Hello everyone you're welcome to My blog today
In the world we live in today it is hard to exist and not leave foot prints behind. The whole idea of being anonymous feels thrilling and interesting but unrealistic at the same time. Can someone actually exist online and still be invisible. The world has gone digital and we live in a whole different world online, Most of us work online, we find love online, we have meetings online, we do a lot of things online and it is questionable when we still want to be invisible.
This is my entry for hive learners weekly contest edition 3. A lot of people want their life all over the Internet and social media but others don't want that, they just want to exist and be hidden behind the scenes. Being anonymous feels easy you know, Using a fake name, a fake phone number, fake ID, Fake username and fake pictures and all that. For a lot of people this feels like being anonymous and they bask in the joy of the moment.
Everytime we go online we leave our footprint in different places, Our interactions with people online, our transactions online, our engagement on other peoples post, our browsing history and our location all this are small traces that we live online without knowing it. I have heard people say that some companies interview their employees by going to their social media page and picking up data about their online lifestyle. Even the government picks up data online for my security purposes to enforce rules and maintain control. Now you see why it is not so easy to be anonymous.
Now this is where the whole story gets interesting, as one careless move can bring everything crumbling down very fast, one careless picture posted online, one reshared number, one careless login or reused email can be the key to making one famous for the bad or good reasons.
Personally I'm someone who wants to live life behind the scenes and not being seen. Yes I love posting my pictures online on social media platforms like Whatsapp, Facebook and Tiktok. But at the same time I fear attracting the wrong attention to myself, but one thing I know is that it's not easy be totally invisible and anonymous in this busy and chaotic world we live in.
I remember we wrote on the topic whistle blowers who's work is highly dangerous and needs to be kept private for the sake of their survival . It's not because they don't want to out their in the public but if they do they are exposed to danger from the society for the line of work they choose to do. Same applies to journalist who work behind the scenes and do secret investigation. They only stay safe by not having any digital footprints so they can be safe from the attack of those they are working against.
At the end of the day the Internet remembers and never forgets so we should mind what we put out there. We should understand that being anonymous isn't just about disappearing but understanding the risk behind not being seen. At the end of the day the question is how much of our self do we put out there without knowing.

I like your take on this topic and the need to be cautious of what we share with the internet.
On the other hand it's quite difficult to be anonymous in this age, given the numerous advance technology we've got.
Yes dear it's very difficult
