So many times in life we do not know what people are going through and most times we just sit in our comfort zone and judge them or just assume whatever we want to sometimes we look at things and we don't really see what exactly it's easy we only see what we think it is this is a story of a girl who didn't know about her origin and her real parents.

Today's story is talking about Lisa a young girl who found herself in a family of four. Which includes her parents and her two brothers but the funny truth is that they never informed her that she was not really their biological daughter of the family but she actually saw the signs too but decided to ignore it.

Her dad was a retired civil servant who schooled abroad but he had to come back to Nigeria to stay with his wife and his kids so they trained her through school secondary education and tertiary education to to some point I wouldn't say that it was the best family settings but they try to love her the much they could her two brothers and her elder sister they always showed up for her.

Something always came up whenever she had an argument with her mother she would always tell her you would end up like your mother that kind of statement is a little bit confusing coming from somebody that claimed to be her mother anyways she did not take it seriously you know until the day she had an encounter with somebody from their community that actually knew about her origin.

So it happened that they had this borehole in their house they do sell water to people most times or sometimes they give them water for free depending on the electricity situation. So on that faithful day she went to sell water to a young lady and they had an argument which led to the lady telling her that she was bought she was wowed ,that's came out wrong and sounded off she told her that she wasn't bought ,she insisted that her mom give birth to her . You know that kind of things she tried to defend herself and stand up for herself.

When she went back to ask her mom her mom told her that she gave birth to her through cesarean section and actually showed her the scar on her tommy and poor Lisa believed her. Well life went on as usual till one of her brothers who is abroad wanted to fly her and her dad out so they could go for checkup and probably get better healthcare .

But her mom being convinced that if you should travel out with them that she will not come back because she was actually adopted but not legally adopted and they never told her. She was convinced by some of her friends who told her not to take her out. They told her that she would lose her just like that after all the money that they spent on her education and you know what her mom actually listened to them and they canceled the travel and she was stuck in Nigeria.

Well the truth was revealed when they were going through the visa processing process that was when the lawyer informed her that her parents had only two boys and 1girl this revealed that she wasn't their biological daughter. The lawyer asked if the family had already informed her and they said no, the lawyer asked them to go back home and tell her what happened and the story surrounding her birth. The truth is bitter her biological mother got pregnant and was abandoned by her boyfriend at the hospital and she in turn abandoned the baby too.That was how they picked her up but never legally adopted her.

This new revelation shattered her mental and she struggled to recover from it.So the truth finally surfaces she had flashback from when the lady told her that she was bought ,how her parents hide the truth from her and every other person knew and she didn't know that she was adopted. Unfortunately everybody around her knew but she didn't know.

Sometimes in life some things we think are secrets are just not known by us but everybody around us seems to know about it better than we do. Lisa didn't know all this while that she was adopted.
