CAN BYGONES BE BYGONES IN THUS DIGITAL ERA
Hello everyone, you're welcome to my blog today.
But what we cannot excuse totally is when someone intentionally says terrible things by mouth for whatever reason they might have. Even the Bible was so clear about being mindful of what you say because your words are powerful; they can destroy or make you, so it's not strange when that happens.

The sad thing is, we know words have consequences, but somehow we can't control our mouths when we say some things. We should understand that even though our opinions may differ, saying or sharing them with others shouldn't be done with terrible words.
The present digital era experiences its fundamental ethical conflict through the practice of judging individuals for their previously held beliefs.
The existence of permanent online records enables people to face judgments based on their past selves instead of their current identity.
The main issue requires an assessment of accountability's significance because it matters, yet the world needs a measurement system to handle personal development when public knowledge remains intact.
Accountability performs a vital social function because it exists to serve human needs. The effects of words and ideas become evident when they result in harm or discrimination, or when they establish patterns of harmful conduct.
The complete disregard for someone who made offensive statements in the past will reduce the force of their words and ideas. The process of moving forward from a crisis represents an actual avoidance of the damage that has occurred.
The purpose of accountability extends beyond punishment to establish a system that validates responsibility while supporting those who suffered.
The process of holding people accountable works alongside a system that punishes offenders for life. A person who remains trapped in past mistakes will find that all progress works against them.
A society that claims to value change must also be willing to recognize it. Through education, different life experiences, and various worldviews, people will transform themselves throughout their existence.
Someone who once held problematic views may later reject them, advocate for better values, and actively contribute to positive change. The current treatment of that person as a permanent depiction of their worst day fails to acknowledge that people possess the ability to grow beyond their past failures.
The online records that remain permanent create difficulties for people in maintaining the required balance between their digital presence and their online reputation. People used to forget their mistakes as time passed throughout most of their lives.
A single social media post from the past now has the capacity to create an entire reputation for someone within a single day. The system establishes a learning culture that develops into a development-based learning environment. People who make mistakes will face permanent consequences that prevent them from participating in open conversations about their previous errors.
Different situations require different treatment. The context matters: how severe were the past statements? How long ago were they made? Has the person acknowledged them, apologized sincerely, and demonstrated change through actions? And when time changes, people also change; so does the environment and everything else.
It does not make sense that a person should pay some price or need to lose something for their past thoughts and words that might have hurt someone's ego or character. Of course, it happens when a variety of characters meet with each other: someone might hate or dislike another.
It's all about the vibe match, and how could they stay close to each other? If a person does not stay close or does not form a good bond, they won't like each other, and they will think something negative about that character in the back of their mind every single time. Growth, as we all know by now, is part of human nature.
Who you were years ago isn’t who you are today. You’re an entirely different person now—your thinking, how you view things, how you move, and how you interact with others. It’s one of two things, though: either you have become a better person or your habits have deteriorated to become very bad. Either way, should people be condemned and suffer severe consequences for their past opinions or beliefs, especially when they were from a state of immaturity?
We might need to consider this. Looking at some of our posts while still developing, some were probably silly and funny, maybe not controversial. I think we can give people the benefit of the doubt and hold them accountable for the things they say today against those of the past, especially when they show signs of repentance and growth.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today.

My dear, you are right, we ought to be mindful of the things we say. Sometimes they might be out of pain or based on our belief but others might not judge it that way.
Yea your right😊
Yeah internet makes it worse to forget or become bygones except if those crimes are not digged to the open
Thank you ma'am
