Navigating a Busy Market Day: Lessons on Empathy and Conflict Resolution/Cleaning Activities.
Greetings, everyone!
how are you all doing? hope you had a wonderful night rest mine was fantastic.am really delighted to be in your midst to share my cleaning activities with you all,but before i proceed i will like to use this medium to share with you my experiences at the market recently.
Last week,I had an eventful market experience that taught me valuable lessons about empathy and managing conflict, Actually it was a bustling Friday at Ngwa Road Market in Aba, Nigeria, where I had been fortunate enough to find and sell some unique outfits.
As I navigated through the crowded market, I accidentally stepped on a woman's toe. I immediately apologized, but instead of accepting my apology, she began to insult me. Before the situation could go further, another woman intervened, scolding the first woman for her harsh words. Sadly, this led to an argument between the two, with each calling the other names.
I took this opportunity to quietly leave the scene, relieved that I had avoided further conflict. This incident reminded me that some people struggle with controlling their anger and may react negatively, even when apologized to. It is crucial to recognize these situations and, whenever possible, distance ourselves from unnecessary conflicts to maintain peace.
However today, I focused on working for my boss at his shop. After returning home, I engaged in my regular cleaning routine to ensure a tidy living space, here are steps i took.
