ELearning from market encounter/cleaning activities.
how are you all doing, hope you all had a wonderful night rest, mine was fantastic.am really excited to be in your midst to share my cleaning activities with you all but before i proceed i want to use this medium some of my experience today.
Today, I want to share an experience at the market that taught me about patience and setting boundaries. I went to sell outfits and was grateful for almost selling all my goods. However, I faced an issue with a customer who owed me money and kept delaying payment, each time she will give me one excuse or the other and sometimes if i meet her when she is selling his goods instead of her to pay me she will tell me to come later, that she's busy with customers, and I do listen but before i will return she will sneak out, if i ask her neighbors the will say that the don't know his whereabouts. i have been exercising patience until today i meet him and she said i should come next week, this has been 3 weeks if not more than she's owing me,i was like damn not again. Despite my patience, when I insisted on collecting the money today, she became rude and started talking back at me in a bad manner. I remained calm but decided not to sell to her on credit again.
This experience made me realize that some people take advantage of kindness, making it difficult when it's time to repay. From now on, I'll be wiser in dealing with debtors and protect my business interests. It's important to set boundaries and know when to say "no."
Nevertheless, I performed my usual cleaning activities to keep my surroundings neat and organized, here are steps i took.
