RE: Resource Flow Through Praetoria

Calculating the relative profit on all those would be interesting! Using the calculated value of 1 aura is a good idea to compare that. That takes out calculating the real cost of Aura, by only comparing the outcome. Very interesting indeed.
The cost of Aura is higher than displayed by the Midnight Potions etc, as those are produced with boosts (totems, titles, runi). Currently, to produce 1 aura you need around 6 DEC worth of resources, so around 0,0054$.
Here's an updated post calculating the Wagons, with the prices at the moment:

And here's a post about calculating the cost of refined resources, mainly aura:

Wagons are already starting to force up the price of other craftables, it’s really starting to get interesting.
As you say it’s so difficult to price Aura as so many factors affect the production costs, those with boosted grain plots get their base resources so much cheaper than market price too.
Really enjoyed reading your posts on this too
That flow chart is still amazing me. It's a little confusing at first, but the more I look at it, the more sense it makes. What tool did you use for that? Is it easy to use? I'm not much of a programmer, so the more intuitive, the better :-D
It’s called a sankey diagram, I used Flourish.Studiofor it and after a little playing around I found something that showed what I wanted 😃 I do want to do something that shows actual flow of value as well as resources but it’s a bit more difficult not knowing how many items are crafted per day but I’m still playing around with it
I'll check it out, thank you!
