The First 20%: A milestone on my twin 4,000 HP and 4,000 LP journey
Hitting milestones in a long-term journey always feels special, not because you have “arrived,” but because you can see proof that your small, consistent steps are working. That is exactly how I feel crossing 20% of my twin goals of 4,000 LEO Power and 4,000 Hive Power. I mean, I am sitting on 870 Hive Power and 1000 Leo Power.
On paper, 20% might not look dramatic. But in the world of compounding, community, and conviction, it is a meaningful marker. It represents discipline on days when it was easier to spend than to stack, patience during market dips, and belief in the economies I’m building in.
This bear season has actually been a gift in disguise. While many see red charts and feel discouraged, I see discounted opportunities to accumulate. Lower prices have allowed me to earn more more HIVE and purchased more LEO with the same resources. Instead of chasing hype, this season has encouraged steady positioning.
What makes this journey even more rewarding is that Hive and LEO are not just tokens to me, they are tied to platforms, people, and participation. Every post, comment, and engagement becomes part of the growth story. It is not a mereholding; but an active building.
Crossing 20% also gives me data. It shows that the goal is realistic. If 20% is possible in the first month of 2026, then 40%, 60%, and eventually 100% are simply a matter of time and consistency. Know that big goals stop feeling abstract when you see measurable progress.
There is also a mindset shift that happens at this stage. You stop thinking like a short-term trader and start thinking like a long-term stakeholder. You pay more attention to value, governance, and contribution. You celebrate growth in power, not just price.
Today, as January closes, I’m choosing to celebrate this simple win. I am grateful and this is me renwing my focus. The journey to 4,000 LEO Power and 4,000 Hive Power continues, but this 20% milestone is a reminder that progress is already happening.
The one big lesson here, is that markets move in cycles, but builders move with purpose. Bear seasons don’t last forever, but the positions built during them often do.
